    My Interpretation:I believe it is this:

    A boy and a girl fall in love with each other and are in a relationship. But when they want to tie the knot, they discover they are really related. Brother and sister!

    To escape the sin of what they did, the boy comes up with the idea of jumping together. The girl agrees but when they go to jump he let's go and let's her jump alone.

    Walking away happy and without sin.

    General Comment:I think it could be about a female friend he might have had for years who could have called him her brother, like how some chicks do. He might have liked her a long time ago but then suddenly she starts to say she loves him and toys with his emotions because He did care a while ago and now she is telling him years later, oh now I like you now.. When his heart could lay within another woman and maybe she tries to break them up... and it turns out she was only jealous????

    General Comment:It's a song about two people with a love hate relationship. The brother is sadistic and the sister has deep romantic feelings for her brother. The two of them decide to make a suicide pact because of their forbidden love but the brother doesn't go through with it and lets his sister die alone.

    General Comment:I think this song is not about anything political, let me make it simple:

    1. A brother and a sister are in an incest-relationship or at least they have sex once

    2. The brother lures the sister into believing they both must jump off the cliff to pay for their dishonorable actions

    3. As they stand on the edge, the sister jumps, the brother doesn't and therefore saves his own ass

    I think this song is a masterpiece and the story as I interpret it reminds me of old children's stories because many of them didn't have happy endings, only a "What did we learn?" -part if even that.

    General Comment:You guys must first understand that serj does not like America, he's not American and is not a patriot of that country. His vision of the United States is like HE's the villain in the stories, besides there's no good and evil at all.

    General Comment:I think the song is taking about large and powerful corporations vs the rest of society, For example in the line "And you're my lover, you pay me, Twice my size," I think means how most of us work for (so get paid by) Corporations. Corporations being larger then us is what the "Twice my size is taking about". In the line "broke her little bones" This uses the word little. But the person has already been described as twice the narrators size. I think this means that unlike other powerful institutions corporations only goal is profit. Yes the truth could be said of other power hungry people, but corporations don't even hide behind things like religion, race, or common good to hide their intentions. So compared to other powerful people heads of corporations are little. hence "little bones". Finally the fall of corporations will happen because eventually the people they need will turn on them at let them go.

    General Comment:The song itself is about a lover trying to kill herself, and encouraging her lover to do the same via jumping off a cliff. She said that if you love me, you'll let me die, and you'll die with me, but her lover did not share her belief and let go, letting her die while he lived.

    This could be a metaphorical suicide of ending a relationship, where she wanted to do something drastic and unhealthy to the relationship and he did not. It ended the relationship and killed her, not physically but emotionally where she essentially trashed herself.

    It's a song about separation, guilt and lies.

    General Comment:well in the lowlands concert instead of saying "cus I'm your brother, your brother have some pride!" serj says "cus I'm your brother,your brother IT'S CALLED INCEST" so now I think this whole song is about incest. But it could be about anything you want that's what serj says

    General Comment:I pretty much think is a song about how America is a country that is too proud to accept help from anybody when we're actually the ones that need it the most. America is the country that owes the most money when we're the biggest thing out there. "You pay me...twice my size". All the other countries are now laughing at us as though we're a joke. And all our politicians are lying, trying to pull the wool over everybody's eyes.
