    My Interpretation:If you go to youtube and look up the video it obviously depicts cloud seeding/chemtrails. It even has a link at the end of the movie (or in info) to a site that serj and a band member of Rage Against the Machine created for the Truth movement and other sites on GMO's and bioengineering. The sky is over because we no longer breathe clean air and they are always hazy never truly showing the bright blue it used to. Going crazy also describes the mental disorders aluminum/barium causes and realizing that few people share the same view as you and you are made to look crazy.

    General Comment: This song is about how we've lost sight of what is really important to our survival and all of the planet.

    Our destructive nature has ravaged the very air we breathe, the very sky we depend upon, and yet we believe that it's for the good of a country, a temporary collection of primates.
    It's a cry to ask, why? Why must we wage war on this planet that has given us life? Why must we put our faith in the artificial monetary system that is like a vampire on our mother earth? Serj understands very well that much of the man-made world is self-destructive and insane.

    General Comment:Think pollution. Not only that, but when was the last time you saw the splendor of the stars without the city lights. That's something we forget about. So he's saying dont be surprised if someday, our children won't have the priveledge of seeing the sky as anything but a terror, what with the hurricanes and all. Also remember that Serj has a new look at life, as a parent. So the lyrics do have that kind of influence. Like... Empty Walls.

    General Comment:Personally, I believe this song is about the chemtrails and the overall affect they will have on Humanity. I also think it has definitive parallel to the USAF HAARP program. In looking at his website, there are all kinds of Bohemian occult references going on there, particularly the owl with a crown. Also the "all seeing eye" represented on the main page load. This man is fully awake to what is really going on.

    To me this is a tell tale pin point of chemtrails, designed to refract light back from the Earth towards the sun by the introduction of aerosols into the atmosphere, thus "cradling" the sun from reaching the Earth.

    What this line means to me is that there ARE people perpetrating this upon us, and they know it, but their minds are closed to the brainwashing of our beloved military, and they turn a blind eye, but in actuality, they know what they are doing is wrong, but they are under mind control; Their own mind is truly ready to awaken them to the atrocities they are committing.

    Serj is no dummy.............

    He knows what the end result of U.S. imperialism will look like on the world, and I guarantee you he understands what the New World Order is up to. I think this lyric is directly related to the current World Economic Crisis, and the fact that is it totally engineered by design to wreck economies, to create crisis, and offer solutions to the populations.

    General Comment:It seems every song has multiple meanings. With the same ending. The relationship ups and downs are reflective both personal and as a country or planet. cradle the sun could be a nuke. It could also be a planet orbiting. the marks through the sky could be nukes or meteors. so much crazy so little time.

    General Comment:I believe this song is about the relationship between the human race and the world we live in. If you think of the lyrics in terms of two sentances combined you get.. Even though we can't afford the sky...the sky is over. Not over as in finished, but literally over head. The sky is the ceiling of our world, something we can not buy..but yet it belongs to all of us..it's over all our heads. "Behind closed eyes lie

    General Comment:Its the same for all his songs. He said in an interview that what the song means is more upto us, the audience, than him. Each song means something else for each person.
    Sounds to me like the end of good days
    "the sky is over" is the main theme, the good times of our lives are over.....we cannot reach for new height anymore our dreams are crushed.
