    General Comment:I'm not positive, but I would have otherwise guaranteed that this song is not about Sherri DuPree. I'm pretty sure it is about photographer Laura June Kirsch who Max dated for around 3 years prior to Sherri.

    This would also make sense for the line "I thanked God when you left him, green eyes" as Laura had just broken up with John Nolan of TBS (the inspiration behind SA's "Skinny Mean Man") AND she also happens to have green eyes, whereas Sherri's are blue.

    Also, just in terms of timeline, it makes sense that it is about Laura.

    I don't think Sherri is in the picture until Say Anything's self-titled album which chronicles Max's breakup with Laura (Eloise) and his new relationship with Sherri (Crush'd, Cemetary etc)

    General Comment:a nieve guy falls for a guy she reliazes it and thinks to herself he likes me and right now i am alone i need someone to "play with" so she acts like she likes him and he becomes obseessed with her and even if she treats him like complete shit he will still love her because he is young and dumb and doesnt reliaze that he is being used

    General Comment:kay, i saw say anything at warped tour on wednesday and i asked max what the correct lyrics were, because i wanted to know, lol.

    he said that it's 'and even if you suck me ‘til i’m sore
    no matter what i’m pleased to be your whore'.

    General Comment:And that also means that she's catholic, which continues to point out that she is a Shiksa or non-jewish girlfriend for a jewish man. All the conflict that would surround that would make me want to kill myself.

    General Comment:Sooooo... I'm pretty sure the meaning is somewhat straightforward, but it seems to be his disbelief about acquiring a love he had been pining over for a long time, she's obviously very beautiful, due to "I've been walking erect" line, buttt... that could also mean she inspired him, saying walking erect as tall and proud. But he seems to be so desperate for her love that no matter how she mistreats him and beats him, "he'll always be her whore". it's cut but there is a darker deeper meaning to it as well.

    Oh, and my fave song on the cd so far, next to "This is Fucking Ecstasy" and "Church Channel" which coincidentally are all in a row on the album.
