Lyrics for Low as interpreted by bobbiealison

Low Lyrics
[Chorus:]
Shawty had them Apple Bottom Jeans [Jeans]
Boots with the fur [With the fur]
The whole club was lookin at her
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reeboks with the straps [With the straps]
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack [Ayy]
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

[Verse 1:]
I ain't never seen nuthin that'll make me go,
this crazy all night spendin my dough
Had a million dollar vibe and a bottle to go
Dem birthday cakes, they stole the show
So sexual, she was flexible
Professional, drinkin X and ooo
Hold up wait a minute, do I see what I think I
Whoa
Did I think I seen shorty get low
Ain't the same when it's up that close
Make it rain, I'm makin it snow
Work the pole, I got the bank roll
Imma say that I prefer them no clothes
I'm into that, I love women exposed
She threw it back at me, I gave her more
Cash ain't a problem, I know where it goes

She had them

[Chorus:]
Apple Bottom Jeans [Jeans]
Boots with the fur [With the fur]
The whole club was lookin at her
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reeboks with the straps [With the straps]
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack
[Ayy]
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

[Verse 2:]
Hey
Shawty what I gotta do to get you home
My jeans full of gwap
And they ready for Shones
Cadillacs Maybachs for the sexy grown
Patrone on the rocks that'll make you moan

One stack (come on)
Two stacks (come on)
Three stacks (come on, now that's three grand)
What you think I'm playin baby girl
I'm the man, I'll bend the rubber bands

That's what I told her, her legs on my shoulder
I knew it was ova, that Henny and Cola
Got me like a Soldier
She ready for Rover, I couldn't control her
So lucky oo me, I was just like a clover
Shorty was hot like a toaster
Sorry but I had to fold her,
Like a pornography poster
She showed her

[Chorus:]
Apple Bottom Jeans [Jeans]
Boots with the fur [With the fur]
The whole club was lookin at her
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reeboks with the straps [With the straps]
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack [Ayy]
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

[Verse 3:]
Whoa
Shawty
Yea she was worth the money
Lil mama took my cash,
and I ain't want it back,
The way she bit that rag,
got her them paper stacks,
Tattoo Above her crack,
I had to handle that,

I was on it, sexy woman, let me shownin
They be want it two in the mornin
I'm zonin in them rosay bottles foamin
She wouldn't stop, made it drop
Shorty did that pop and lock,
Had to break her off that gwap
Gah it was fly just like my glock

[Chorus:]
Apple Bottom Jeans [Jeans]
Boots with the fur [With the fur]
The whole club was lookin at her
She hit the flo [She hit the flo]
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low

Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reeboks with the straps [With the straps]
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack [Ayy]

lol i love you. all the hardships the indians went through?
i'm glad that the people who write these songs are so sensitive to the hardships of native americans.
while i wouldn't personally interpret this song to have anything to do with columbus, i think that's the best thing i've heard all day. :D

Another rap song about sex... any surprise there? Is it just me, or does every rap song sound the same, and are about the same things?

Why do girls listen to songs like this? These songs do not respect women in any way. If we all treated women like this, we would have to go through women's rights all over again. Women who listen to this are hypocrates in my eyes.

If songs like this are mainstream and "fuckin badass!!" Then this world is messed up.

This takes no talent to make. In a band there is a drum beat, a base line, a lead guitar, sometimes a rhythm guitar, and a SINGER. And usually when a band has a rhythm guitar, the singer has it, so they have to be especially talented to sing and play the guitar at the same time.

However in this, there is a baseline, and one or two guys "rapping" about how they want to have sex with some girl they just met at a club.

When they rap, they do two or three different notes, then to mix it up, they rap lower, for like 2 beats, during the chorus so you don't realize that the rest of the song is the same. That just gets repetative and annoying. That's the only reason it gets stuck in your head.

My opinion: I hate this song. Yeah, there's a hater on the first page.

4everandaday. So you hate rap, ok, well, congratulations for your little essay on the subject.
As to your analysis of rap, it's flawed, especially your assertion that it takes no talent to make. Now I'm sure you're sitting in your basement listening to records of Zeppelin or something, and lamenting the fact that people don't like your style of music anymore. Well tough shit, people arn't huge fans of classical music anymore, and by any stretch of the imagination, a piece by Chopin, Beethoven or Mozart is far more complex than any 4~5 person band is. But do you see people bitching about it? Not really.
In essence, you don't like rap, that's great. Now sit down, shut up, and let the people who do like it (ever since the days it was called hip hop in my case) enjoy it.

4ever- Rip up this song all you want, but dont confuse mainstream rap with all rap. Listen to immortal technique or even just read his lyrics, and you will realize that rap can be deep and meaningful. Rap gets a bad name because club hits like these are played non-stop on the radio, and are replaced by slightly different club hits in a month or so. 95% of good rap is underground.

cmdrnmartin, sorry, I was just really mad when I wrote that comment and I wanted to vent on something. If you really want to know what I listen to click on my name, click "Site Interaction" then "Browse Favorites," and you will see no Led Zeppelin.

Okay I'll admit, I have only heard mainstream rap. I probably should have put the word "mainstream" before rap in my comment before. I guess you can't also look at rock and say that all of it sucks because of a few songs you hear on the radio, but I probably shouldn't criticize what other people like without expecting the same in return...

um, 4.Ever and a day, DO NOT APOLOGIZE for what you said about this song. cmdrnmartin, maybe people's musical tastes do change over time, but that doesn't make this stuff right. maybe i think everyone should stop supporting this kind of misogyny and maybe i refuse to sit back and say nothing about it.

And yeah, I don't listen to underground rap (or led zeppelin...) but that's not the issue. I wouldn't judge that stuff because i've never heard it. I'm judging THIS song (and songs like it) because they tell women that their inteligence, talents, desire for a man who cares about them for these traits, all that stuff doesn't matter because "Work the pole, i got the bank roll". Keep the bank roll, please. I'm worth a little bit more than that.

Sorry if you happen to like the extremely repetitive and unoriginal beat of this song and I've offended you. The beat simply doesn't do it for me - for some reason I just can't seem to get past the guy getting paid millions to unashamedly demean and insult me. Oh well.

cloudy, maybe if you'd get over your holier than thou additude.

songs like this actually give power to women. if you didn't jump to conclusions you'd realize that its basically about how helpless we are when confronted with beautiful women.

we're helpless anyways. sooner or later when you go your whole life being told you're a sexist pig just because you're a guy you start to believe it.

its a good song. its catchy.

charliestoje, it's true, i haven't heard anyone make your argument before. and i do sympathize with guys who get labeled, i understand that that judgement exists out there. i hope guys don't start believing it, just like i hope that girls never start believing that they are hunks of meat.

but as a woman, i obviously view this song from a different perspective than you. If it really does have a "message of empowerment" as you say, it was too subtle for me to pick up on. And somehow i don't think the mainstream rap industry is too keen on subtlety. if rappers like this are trying to compliment women, they sure have a lot to learn.

i didn't say this particular song was WRITTEN with the intention of empowering women, but it wasn't written with the intention of degrading them either.

honestly, of course we start believing in. because if we don't, that makes us a sexist pig. "how dare you?! you don't think that the way you ogle at women is disrespectful?" when honestly half the time we stare at women out of an innate desire to reproduce with them, instinct, duh, not our fault. i dated a feminist once. granted, she was a fake feminist really, preached about being equal to me and then expected me to be chivalrous and pay for her dinner and buy her popcorn, even though we're "equal in this relationship, charlie."

and i totally get what you're saying. i love girls, i totally view them as superior to me, not even kidding. i give my girlfriend the upmost respect and i'd hate it if she ever felt that she was just a piece of ass to me, but if something like this offends you, some tougher skin would be my perscription.

just realize that women essentially hold all the power in the world. we'd seriously do anything for you. not only cause you scare us.

but hah i love mainstream rap and thats where this all came from.

ha. okay charlie. i'm calling a truce... obviously this argument isn't going to make me start listening to rap any more than it's going to make you stop, and same goes for everybody who likes this song.

i don't consider myself a rabid feminist, in fact i'm more of a moderate/conservative, but i do believe in political and economic equality between the sexes, even though nothing will ever convince me that men and women are created the SAME. like you were saying, we can have completely different instincts and stuff but still be equals in society. and because of that i like it when guys open doors for me and stuff. but you're right, it's definitely a paradoxical situation.

but anyway, i looked at your profile to see what i was up against, and what do you know, i can't argue with a fellow tiger, now can i? haha. hopefully i'll be there myself in a year or two. so enjoy your flo rida and i'll enjoy my needtobreathe (they're great local guys, you should check them out sometime if you haven't already. but far from rap, i'll admit it).

4. Ever and a Day, who gave you the authority to define what a band SHOULD be? The White Stripes don't have a bassist. Tilly and the Wall have no drummer and a member in the band who tap dances for their percussions. Broken Social Scene has like 5 guitars. Is their music any less valid than what you listen to? Just because it doesn't fit YOUR standard doesn't mean it's any less good. If people like Flo Rida you're not going to convince them that it sucks because it DOESN'T HAVE A GUITAR OH NO. You can't tell people what to like. If you don't like Flo Rida, don't listen to Flo Rida. It's that simple.
