Before the story begins, is it such a sin
For me to take what's mine, until the end of time?
We were more than friends, before the story ends
And I will take what's mine, create what God would never design

Our love had been so strong for far too long
I was weak with fear that somethin' would go wrong
Before the possibilities came true
I took all possibility from you

Almost laughed myself to tears
Conjuring her deepest fears (come here you fucking bitch)

Must have stabbed her fifty fucking times
I can't believe it
Ripped her heart out right before her eyes
Eyes over easy, eat it, eat it, eat it

She was never this good in bed, even when she was sleepin'
Now she's just so perfect I've never been quite so fucking deep in
It goes on and on and on
I can keep you lookin' young and preserved forever
With a fountain to spray on your youth whenever

'Cause I really always knew that my little crime
Would be cold, that's why I got a heater for your thighs
And I know, I know it's not your time
But bye, bye
And a word to the wise, when the fire dies
You think it's over but it's just begun
Baby, don't cry
You had my heart, at least for the most part
'Cause everybody's gotta die sometime
We fell apart, let's make a new start
'Cause everybody's gotta die sometime, yeah, yeah
But baby, don't cry

Now possibilities I'd never considered
Are occurring the likes of which I'd never heard
Now an angry soul comes back from beyond the grave
To repossess a body with which I'd misbehaved

Smiling right from ear to ear
Almost laughed herself to tears

Must have stabbed him fifty fucking times
I can't believe it
Ripped his heart out right before his eyes
Eyes over easy, eat it, eat it, eat it (eat the shit out of it)

Now that it's done, I realize the error of my ways
I must venture back to apologize from somewhere far beyond the grave
I gotta make up for what I've done
'Cause I was all up in a piece of heaven
While you burned in hell, no peace forever

'Cause I really always knew that my little crime
Would be cold, that's why I got a heater for your thighs
And I know, I know it's not your time
But bye, bye
And a word to the wise, when the fire dies
You think it's over but it's just begun
But baby, don't cry
You had my heart, at least for the most part
'Cause everybody's gotta die sometime
We fell apart, let's make a new start
'Cause everybody's gotta die sometime, yeah, yeah
But baby, don't cry

I will suffer for so long (what will you do, not long enough)
To make it up to you (I pray to God that you do)
I'll do whatever you want me to do (well, then, I'll grant you one chance)
And if it's not enough (if it's not enough, if it's not enough)
If it's not enough (not enough)
Try again (try again)
And again (and again)
Over and over again

We're coming back, coming back
We'll live forever, live forever
Let's have wedding, have a wedding
Let's start the killing, start the killing

Do you take this man in death for the rest of your unnatural life
Yes, I do
Do you take this woman in death for the rest of your unnatural life
I do
I now pronounce you

Becuse I really always knew that my little crime
Would be cold, that's why I got a heater for your thighs
And I know, I know it's not your time
But bye, bye
And a word to the wise, when the fire dies
You think it's over but it's just begun
But baby, don't cry
You had my heart, at least for the most part
'Cause everybody's gotta die sometime
We fell apart, let's make a new start, oh
'Cause everybody's gotta die sometime, yeah, yeah
But baby, don't cry

    My Interpretation

I think people are taking the lyrics a bit too seriously. I think it's more of a metaphor of a dysfunctional relationship. Due to his excessive paranoia, maybe he got abusive or controlling. He says at the beginning how "Something would go wrong,Before the possibilities came true, I took all possibility from you" Basically, this explains how he would stop her ever being able to leave him/cheat on him whatever. The abuse/controlling is expressed by the 'stabbing'. Her stabbing him, in return, I believe is her leaving him. It's like a fuck-you for being like that, I'm off, and that pain symbolises his 'stabbing'. After this, he says he must "apologise from somewhere far beyond the grave" I think the 'far beyond the grave' symbolises the grave of their relationship, ie. after things ended. After that, they rekindle their love and get married, explaining the wedding ceremony. Where it says "We're coming back, coming back We'll live forever, live forever Let's have wedding, have a wedding Let's start the killing, start the killing" I believe the 'start the killing' says that they both accept they were wrong in the relationship, but as it's now them BOTH 'killing' it may be some sort of agreement to maybe take their problems out on OTHER people instead of each other.

Anyway, that's what I think... Kate Revengeance.

dude falls in love with chick. he's afraid she might one day leave him so he kills her before she gets the chance. he keeps her body young and rapes her corpse. her soul comes back reposesses her body and kills him. they both spend eternity trying to make it up to each other. then i guess they come back to earth from, hell and start killing people? that part with the demon voice came out of nowhere.

Halloween acid trip doesn't even begin to describe this song. I cannot listen to this song without seriously laughing my ass off for how amazingly fucked up some of these lyrics are. I mean seriously "’Cause I really always knew that my little crime would be cold that's why I got a heater for your thighs" it does not get any sicker than that haha

He seems like a crazy sadist because he laughs as he kills her and enjoys her fear. And when she comes back she smiles as she murders him. Doesn't seem like there's a lot of love in their relationship at the time of her murder. There's also a hint of insanity when you listen to the laughing, and then at points it's grave and he feels remorse. Or it could be some obsession type thing on his part and simply revenge on hers, and then his remorse.

It's a lot to consider and the song itself is pretty confusing. And I love it!

A guy kills his wife/girlfriend, eats her hearth, fucks the corpse and then the girl comes back from hell and kills the guy, and eats his heart. They marry in hell, and they live happily ever after.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
