Love the days
She's gone for the moment
I don't know which way she was going
Lord, it's been
A long warm November
I know now
She acts like her mother

I've been holding on
Here forever
And I don't know where she's gone
But hopefully
She knows not to come back now

Kick in the door, get on the floor
Went on a woman prowl (Woo Hoo)
Something to kiss the night away
When I'm taking back that (Woo Hoo)
Baby you know that I can hold my own
When I'm feeling (Woo Hoo)
Baby, you know, that I could just sail away

Gone away
So gone in the moment
Still can’t tell which way she was going
Shaping up
And growing right on me
Taking my advice
Like her father

I've been holding on
Here forever
And I don't know where she's gone
But hopefully she knows not to turn around

Kick in the door, get on the floor
Went on a woman prowl (Woo Hoo)
Something to kiss the night away
When I'm taking back that (Woo Hoo)
Baby you know that I can hold my own
When I'm feeling (Woo Hoo)
Baby, you know, that I could just sail away

She's going to prowl when the storm comes
And it'll come, and it'll come, and it'll come
Instead she says, "Can't get none".

General Comment:The only possible reason I can come up with as to why this wasn't on Because of the Times was because they just didn't think it "fit." But I would have made it fit if I were them... it would have been such a good single!

But only foursongs, lol. They are the most awsomenest band ever formed!!! I LOVE YOU KINGS OF LEON!!

General Comment:The guy in the song sounds like a real jerk to me. Looking forward to womanizing b/c his girl is cramping his style. He's saying he's gonna "kick in the door, get on the floor, went on a woman prowl", meaning the town better watch out 'cause he's a-comin'. And then he's saying she's gonna prowl whenever there's a problem in the relationship, but at the end he reveals "she can't get none", unlike the obvious gentleman in this song who can "just sail away" w/out her. Ah well, maybe it's the alpha-male perspective of the writing of this song that's so funny to me.

General Comment:I agree with all the above comments! As soon as I heard this song, I absolutely loved it! I think it's about a guy in a relationship with a girl and a break-up is long overdue. In fact, it almost sounds like he's not really even sure they're still together. So, as mentioned, he goes on a 'prowl' in the chorus. I absolutely love KOL's use of the phrase "woo hoo", like it's just him going absolutely crazy. This song just loosens me up and makes me so happy!

General Comment:This song was love at first listen..
i think its about a guy's comeback onto the dating scene. he's been with one girl for a while now, and now he's gonna have a few meaningless flings to get through his horniness!

GOD this band is ridiculously good!!
i can't stop listening to the kingsss

General Comment:When I think about this song, I think about a guy who's just broken up with his girlfriend and plans to go on a "woman prowl." He's been tied down for far too long and is just ready to get back in the game. He's going to come back with a bang too.

Great song by the way. I have no idea what it is about Kings of Leon, but they're spectacular.

General Comment:Arghh, this song deserves more comments, it's on of their best - it should have gone on an actual album. It's catchy and I was just listening to it at night, and couldn't fucken stop grinning.
    =)

General Comment:I totally agree with 2hands last post. I bought this song off itunes, and it was immediately a favorite... then i'd find myself listening to it over and over again. Simply amazing, like always.

When I hear about this song, I think about someone fresh out of a relationship, simply going crazy and partying to make things a little easier. Therefore, I think "woo hoo" refers to being drunk... which I'm sure other people are thinking.

    Whatever the matter, great song...

General Comment:i love the way that when you listen to a new KOL song
you love it immediately firstly just on principle cause i mean its KOL
then you realise just how good it is
and then you just love it more and more with every listen
by the end of the day
    you've got it on repeat

    THEY ARE SO FUCKING GOOD
