She was desperate and desperate is scary
He works the foreplay so she comes early
And she would like to pull and scream
But I would like to keep this clean, my girl.
And she would write the local papers
To the I-Hate-All-Men features and spread the word.

And you preach to me
That I cannot see
That girls don't need men
To keep them happy
And here's one for you
Well men can do it too
Only it takes less time
And less effort too.

I could have said that she's the silent type
For she sleeps all day and then works all night
She's her eye on staring an evolution
Where the boys are the problem and girls the solution
But there's an issue on the table
'cause I'm obviously not able to compete
Because you don't require loving
From a man 'cause it means nothing then I must leave.

And you preach to me
That I cannot see
That girls don't need men
To keep them happy
And here's one for you
Well men can do it too
But it takes less time
And less effort too.

The saviour of the female species
I hear Miss Fantasia Preaches.

And you preach to me
That I cannot see
That girls don't need men
To keep them happy
And here's one for you
Well men can do it too
But it takes less time
And less effort too.
In a fist fight sea
Of society
You could always do
With a guy like me
And here's one for you
If what you say is true
Then why everytime
When I see you you're true

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
