Stand out, because you blend in with the background.
She wrote a rebellion.
I know there’s nothing here I can live without
Except you, my love
She will go on.

Over my head and you’re over me again
And she fell
Over my head and you’re over me again.

Shut up, it’s the fairy tales that save us.
I don’t believe either.
It makes no sense to tell you that I love you
When you’re gone, you’re gone
And now you’re gone.

Over my head and you’re over me again
And she fell
Over my head and you’re over me again.

And now I see you right beside me
But you won’t say my name.
I’m sorry I failed you when I was right beside you
And now you don’t feel, you don’t feel the same.

Stand down, because this is when I count you
As part of the background
I will go on.

Over my head and you’re over me again
And she fell
Over my head and you’re over me again
But I’m over you again.

General Comment:This song hits me hard. It goes hand in hand with a woman that I have always been crazy about, who happens to be one of my closest friends.

To me, Kevin is speaking of the intricate cycle of two people who at one time, the guy is interested in the girl, while the girl may or may not be interested in him( maybe she just won't say she is) when he starts giving up on her, she falls for him( over his head, ahhh:) and then she starts giving up, and he feels for her, but she has nothing to do with him in that light, till he gives up on her, and back and forth.

This is a situation I had for awhile, she liked me, I was with someone else or just was scared to tell her, then I wanted to tell her, she was somewhere else, till I told her and it kind of put an end to it(in my case, while it hurt, I realize how great of a friend this woman truly is, and grateful for not having a relationship, that could have ended badly) Though in rare moments I think, hey, I could have been with her, and that is just enough of a boost for me, I got something that is sometimes, better than romance..

But I always seen this song as that never ending cycle of romance that is just not truly spoken, or not meant to be....just my thought:))) I miss the real E|B

General Comment:I don't know why this song did not make the album as a regular track. It sounds amazing. It's an FYE exclussive track.
