I always thought he was saying "Why would you lie boit how much coke you had. Why would you lie about something dumb like that." Then I wondered if coal was slang for cocaine. I thought he was dealing with someone in his life that was conceited and struggling with an addiction and he was trying to level with them and let them know they weren't fooling him from the reality of their problems and their false inflated ego.
