    My Interpretation:I think it's about a guy who fell for a chick, a chick who completely played him. He talks about remembering all the games, and every little lie, the promises she broke, and words she said but never meant. He wonders why he ever stuck through it, when they're obviously better off without each other.

    General Comment:the song is about the relationship and drug addiction.... the damn chic was hooked on depression medicine... its very sad.. but extremely relateable.. the good songs are.. just lost an amazing girl the same way :( but this song helps... this and "i f*ckin hate you" by godsmack!! and of course "alive and kicking" oh well time to mess up the next one haha

    General Comment:Just to be clear, at the end of the song when he says "as wicked as you are you're beautiful to me" he's just saying that he still has feelings for her not that there's any sort of redemption or reunion right? My friend thinks that there is.

    General Comment:gotta say that this song is fucking amazing and intense as hell live. obviously this is about being in love and having that bitch hurt you (yes yes personal experience) but that no matter what and through everything that goes on there will always be a place where the two will be together or have a connection. "You're my perfect disease" is the best line, very plainly saying that no matter the bullshit that we've been through there is something about you and me that works and i can't get away.

    General Comment:tbh i think this song has 2 meanings, the first is obviously the love song whatever, however i think it could be reflecting the way a person has changed from bad to good or is ashamed of what they were (paint the mirrors black to forget you) possibly with drug references - being unclean, filthy having a face that's changed due to addictions.
    just a thought :)

    General Comment:Absolutely fucking awesome. Fantastic opening, even better bridge. However, the lyrics undeniably suck. Really, there's no way around it, and definitely no excuse for it. Just because it's metal doesn't mean the lyrics need to sound as if they were written by an emo 12 year old girl. Additionally, good lyrics are not necessarily indicative of pussy band (Tool should be all the proof anyone needs). It's the difference between flash-in-the-pan singles and memorable classics.
