Jack Barakat was the original guitarist. He was the one who got Alex to listen to Blink-182, which ultimately led to the formation of the band, after which he pursued Rian Dawson to have a jam session with them. In fact, the only one who isn't "originally" from the band is Rian. They had another drummer who couldn't play as well so they got Rian.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get this information from?
this band has been so influential to me
