i absolutely LOVE this song!! its not the tune that makes this song fantastic, but the lyrics. i love it how xavier writes about things that really matter in the world, not just worthless relationships etc etc. (not that there's anything wrong with those types) hearing this song inspires me and makes me want to do whatever i can for justice to be reached- to be one of the better people. keep going xavier!!!

This song is very straightforward. Simple, yet powerful.

Danagirl, damn, down to a nutshell. Rudd writes about things that matter. Just like you said, pointless relationships, absolutely pathetic love songs, they all pale in comparison to songs like this.

Why can't we all be better people? Pick up that bit of rubbish you see on the beach? Let someone in front of you in the check-out line? Help that mother struggling with a pram, two bawling kids and ten shopping bags?

In the words of John Butler (who also played at Bluesfest '09!):

"Art changes People, People change the World"

An artform like Xavier's songwriting can change people. If we all do our bit, we CAN change the world!
