That night they found the key to decode you,
Tokyo.
Between warm sake and streetlight
caught in falling snow
Holding each word he spoke,
her hands filled up full.
The quiet voice she gave him,
translates by tone.
They laughed throughout their talking
With every round
words come into meaning
Tokyo.
Between warm sake and streetlight
caught in falling snow
Holding each word he spoke,
her hands filled up full.
The quiet voice she gave him,
translates by tone.
They laughed throughout their talking
With every round
words come into meaning

I can picture an awesome music video for this song.
It starts off at dawn, at the beach..some dude gets hit by water, wakes up...gets up..the dude is completely beat up, it looks like he's been through some hell, night prior. Starts walking around, looks around and as the music changes to where they start singing, camera zooms into his eyes, then fades into black. now we get the scene where he's remembering..meets a girl
they hit it off start hanging out all day, its one of those cliche moments with a girl in a movie type of deal. Next thing you know its getting dark, he starts walking her home, and some guys pull up and shoot her, completely miss the guy, by the point the outro solo is coming along, so this is where he's trying to catch those guys, throws crap in their car. Guys decide to stop, and teach this dude a lesson, so they start jumping him, bleeding him to a bloody pulp, throw him in the trunk, while he's unconscious then leave him in front of the ocean...and well that is how my vision of the video would end. its a lot better explaining it while the song is playing so you can kind of get a feel for it, but that is what I envision when I hear this song...great song, probably one of my favorite MTB songs.
