    Song Meaning:Stay Awake would be a conversation between Peter Pan and Wendy. But when Alex wrote, he was at the place of the characters and made a menu based on an analysis he did for himself. His adult side talking to more children.

    My Interpretation:Aside from the peter pan bit -
    I think this is more about a conversation Alex is having with himself.

    It seems he wants to go accomplish great things and live up to everyone's (and his own) expectations.
    Where the other side of him just wants things to magically happen, where in reality Alex know's that he can't sit around dreaming he has to get up and make shit happen.

    It's worded so strange, and is just an awkward verse in general..

    My Interpretation:This song is about just rolling with life and following your dreams, even if sometimes you want to freak out about how stupid an idea it was but it really isnt, it just feels that way right now
