I've been told I'm livin' a lie
I've been told all my life
I've been told I'm livin' a lie
I've been told all my life
I haven't got more than one dress
Mostly I wear it out walking to work
Who else am I?
Getting it wrong almost every time
Where else, where else am I?
Living alone in my head
Rowboat left in the rain
Drifting out on the lake
Where could my one love be?
Oh, rowboat left in the rain
Drifting by on the lake
Rescue my one love from the grief
I've been told all my life
I've been told I'm livin' a lie
I've been told all my life
I haven't got more than one dress
Mostly I wear it out walking to work
Who else am I?
Getting it wrong almost every time
Where else, where else am I?
Living alone in my head
Rowboat left in the rain
Drifting out on the lake
Where could my one love be?
Oh, rowboat left in the rain
Drifting by on the lake
Rescue my one love from the grief

i love the lines about the rowboat. i always picture a dark old deteriorating canoe that is drifting by empty and aimlessly as the moonlight hits it. it reminds alot of one scene of the opening theme for the show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" anybody know wat im talking about?
