Lyrics for Into The Hollow as interpreted by ZiggyMarvin

Into The Hollow Lyrics
Avoir, Adieu, Goodnight
I’m too wrong, to get right
But I cant wait forever
I’ve always been alone
A fool believes he’s clever
Don’t you wanna go into the Hollow ?
I won’t go it alone
Aren’t you gonna follow ?

I live behind my eyes
Be sure to keep the surprise
I break what I’ve already borrowed
That’s why I always go
alone into tomorrow
Don’t you wanna go into the Hollow ?
Don’t wanna go alone, aren’t you gonna follow ?
Into the Hollow

Great song, cool little guitar riff. I think its about going where your not supposed to go. Possibly death?

He's alone but he doesn't want to be. He breaks things and then moves on. He's not as clever as he thought he was.

The first couple of songs on this disc are about being different and taking risks, (I thought) and this is about this same person moving on to 'the hollow' or becoming hollow. (i.e. fake or empty) He's got nothing for himself because he's different and because he takes risks so that's what's motivating him to do whatever it is.

It's about not being afraid. To see things with another perspective, "I live behind my eyes". We're all gonna die so what's the fuckin difference if you do something that you're not supposed to do. "A fool believes he's clever" And a fool doesnt do stuff. Queens are all about doing stuff. Check out the website "do stuff" and all that. Amazing idea

I think it's about getting what you want. It doesn't matter that she's are already done everything you want, but the true test of love (or ludicrous) is to go into hollow with you. Stupid bitch doesn't know in what she stumbled into, so lets see how far can too far go... I know I'm wrong, just gotta to get it out.. Sorry... I don't go alone into hollow

i agree with supermutant. i think he was alone for a long time, and now he wants to move on, but he´s a bit afraid (maybe) and doesn´t want to go alone... but maybe you´re right with fuckin´, a lot of qótsa songs are about this..

Hey, I think it's not Avoir, Adieu but Au revoir, adieu.
Cause au revoir means good bye and avoir means to have.
Au revoir makes more sense, eh?

Great song though, by the way :)

to me this song is about using girls (or guys) in relationships and being self-conscious of it.

"I’m too wrong, to get right "

he knows that what he is doing is wrong but instead of trying to fix it he just gives in and accepts it

"I’ve always been alone
A fool believes he’s clever"

The result of his actions is that he is always alone because he never truly finds love... he's the fool because all of the clever tricks he may have used to get women left him with nothing in the long run

"I break what I’ve already borrowed"

i think the line goes "I break what i have borrowed"...
but anyway this refers to how he treats them, he picks them up for a fling and then drops them for the next one

"Don’t you wanna go into the Hollow ?"

i kinda pull a few interpretations from this line.... he could be trying to say that he wants to take a shot at serious relationship and is asking the girl along.... or he could be referring to his bedroom as "the hollow"

yea well thats enough explaining anyway

I always thought this song was about getting stoned.
He's got so much going on that he can't deal with and he wants to run away to somewhere he knows is safe. Like taking the easy way out. Even without the getting high part it still works.
