The storm is coming, but I don't mind.
People are dying, I close my blinds.

All that I know is I'm breathing now.

I want to change the world, instead I sleep.
I want to believe in more than you and me.

But all that I know is I'm breathing.
All I can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing now.

All that I know is I'm breathing.
All I can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing. [8x]

All we can do is keep breathing now.

General Comment:LOOKEE EVERYONE, A COMMENT NOT INVOLVING GREY'S ANATOMY

I think this is about getting over depression. It's at the point that you realise it is possible to get over it with that someone next to you, and you know you want to change; change yourself and th world. But you're barely out of it, so you're just trying to keep living.

General Comment:This song is so beautiful. I think she has a lot of great things she wants to accomplish but her spirit has been crushed (probably a breakup) and all she can do is just breathe and survive for now until she become stronger and "change the world". But for now she's depressed and will sleep and try to cope.

General Comment:jbarry1991 i agree with you on the depression idea, the line
'I want to change the world, instead I sleep'
makes me think of this, as if there is so much she wants to do, so much she thinks about but she physically can't, all she can do is just stay in bed.
the fact that all she can do is breathe i think also relates to depression, how that's all she can focus on and all she can manage at the moment,

General Comment:It seems as though this song always plays on my iPod when I'm having a bad day and I'm really upset about something. It just makes me think about the simpler things in life, and to remember that as long as I'm still breathing, it's not over.

General Comment:i think maybe it's about a girl who had a relationship or is just thinking about a guy who may be wrong for her and he's coming to her and asking for a second chance and she just says whatever he wants and just waits to see if it's going to hurt or work or what. or at least that's what i get out of it cause that's what's happening to me at the moment. just my take.

General Comment:I used to think that "I want to believe in more than you and me" meant he was all she had, in a postive way, but now I look at it as she's been through a break-up and now feels she has nothing, because the relationship was everything to her. But she's realised she needs to try and just get through this, hard as it may be.

    Beautiful song.

General Comment:I definitely think that "I want to believe in more than you and me" is saying that she wants to believe in God. She just hasn't found anything in life yet that has managed to convince her that God is real.

General Comment:In my opinion, not enough people know about this song.
It's so touching, so moving; yet it's just a few lines.
I feel tears stand in my eyes whenever I listen to it. It's so inspirational to me, helps me to carry on, when I'm just not doing well or when I'm feeling down.
Thank you, Ingrid, for this fantastic song.

My Interpretation:I think that the line "I want to believe in more than you and me" is either referring to a higher being, perhaps, or that there is a greater love out there in a relationship (if the song is indeed about a relationship). Looking through y'alls comments, I can also see what you mean about there being a bigger and better world out there full of people that are much more alive and caring than she seems to be in this song.
