I put my hands up to my face
So hard for me to just embrace the land
Some moments gone and now I'm dry
And how the camera can reply

Cool babies with soft operations
Hoping my hands from coins in my cup
Just in numbers and public declarations
Tell me to sit there and just shut up

Don't, don't, don't take my, don't take my picture
Don't, don't, don't take my picture

I tried to give in everything
The games I played, the songs I sing
What do I do, do I provoke
Oh, how the camera has me spoke

Cool babies with soft operations
Hoping my hands from coins in my cup
Just in numbers and public declarations
Tell me to sit there and just shut up

Don't, don't, don't take my, don't take my picture
Don't, don't, don't take my picture

Don't want you to take my picture
Don't want you to take my picture
Don't want you to take my picture
Don't want you to take my picture

Cool babies with soft operations
Hoping my hands from coins in my cup
Just in numbers and public declarations
Tell me to sit there and just shut up

Cool babies with soft operations
Hoping my hands from coins in my cup
Just in numbers and public declarations
Tell me to sit there and just shut up

    Lyric Correction:I think it's
So hard for me to just erase the lens

    Cool babies and soft operations
Holding my hands, throwing coins in my cup
    Twisting numbers and public relations

I try to give it everything
The games I play, the songs I sing

General Comment:I get something along the same lines as Makashiro. I imagine the politician, only in it for the money and power, who sets up a photo shoot (of the baby-kissing type) only to improve his image. Or the doctor who has similar motives and doesn't actually care about helping people. Only, no one likes being told to "sit down and shut up" while their misfortunes are used for someone else's self-serving agenda. Maybe she's speaking out against this?

My Interpretation:i wonder who the person is telling her to "shut up" is?
could it be herself? telling her to calm down, and that getting your picture taken couldnt be that bad?
or could the camera be a metaphor to the public around her?

haha. idk. i love this song regardless.

General Comment:I take this song to be the opinion of a homeless person,
Always having "artists" take their pictures in black and white for their projects and stuff, and the person just doesn't want to be made into nothing more than an artsy photo.
