I don't think that it's gonna rain again today
There's a devil at your side but an angel on her way

Someone hit the light 'cause there's more here to be seen
When you caught my eye, I saw everywhere I'd been and wanna go to

You came on your own, that's how you'll leave
With hope in your hands and air to breathe

I won't disappoint you as you fall apart
Some things should be simple; even an end has a start

Someone hit the light 'cause there's more here to be seen
When you caught my eye, I saw everywhere I'd been and wanna go to

You came on your own, that's how you'll leave
With hope in your hands and air to breathe

You'll lose everything by the end
Still my broken limbs you find time to mend

More and more people I
Know are getting ill
Pull something good from the
Ashes, now be still

You came on your own, that's how you'll leave
With hope in your hands and air to breathe

You lose everything by the end
Still my broken limbs you choose to mend

You came on your own, that's how you'll leave
You came on your own, that's how you'll leave

You came on your own
You came on your own

My Opinion:One of the darkest albums I've ever heard, mainly through the lyrics. It's all about death but still with a lot of hope and wisdom in it. Great, great album!

General Comment:I know that he's talking about death and abandonment, but uh we don't enter and leave this world on our own.

    Just saying, is all.

General Comment:I reckon this song is about a chronic masturbator, but you don't all hav to shut me down, coz that's just my opinion, and its a song which i feel i connect very strongly with. I'll point out why i believe this is what it's about:
1: "you came on your own, that's how you'll leave" - this line is referring to someone visiting a brothel, and jizzing themselves before the prostie even enters the room. naturally she is angry, and tells him to leave, whilst making quite a witty pun.
    2. "someone hit the light etc..." - this refers to the chronic masturbator, let's call him Spencer Galbally for arguments sake, hiding out in a dark room, and getting someone to flick on the lights - KABOOM!! what do they see? a naked man swinging his willy like a pendulum before having a private hand party...

anyway, as I said before, this is merely my opinion and you don't all need to slag me off about it....

General Comment:This song seems to be about death. Death seems to be a reoccuring them throughout the album.

General Comment:I agree that he's probably singing about death, but this song strikes a different chord in me. At least for me, it applies to entering situations(people, places, friends) completely alone. Those situations become your entire life. And the real message is that no matter what happens, you can come out alone, as a better, stronger person.

So that's just my take on it. Powerful, nonetheless.

    General Comment:The line:
"Still my broken limbs, you choose to mend.''
Definitely seems Christian, like how God will love us no matter what we've done in the past.

General Comment:yes, there is definitely a Christian feel. Especially that last line, "you came on your own and that's how you'll leave." Just like what Job says, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return to the dust." Complete breakdown.

General Comment:Something tells me this song has Christian overtones. o_O
    Anyone else got this feeling?
