  General Comment:okay this may not be right but this is how i relate to it..
  
  He broke a girls heart thinking that they might not be right and it upset her a lot. Which makes him start thinking that maybe they had something good together, so he is saying why not just give their love another try and now she feels that she needs to move on.

  General Comment:I think its about a lover who has died and wanting more time with her, also feeling regretful over not caring about her enough when she was alive "The way I broke your heart very literally"
  There is definate guilt also in the lines "This ghost haunts me more than it should be" that just my take on it...

  General Comment:I have a feeling this song is about Gerard (MCR)... With the falling out they had. It's pretty straight forward, and one reason I think this is about Gerard is because the lyrics never say he is talking about a girl.

  General Comment:It seems that, besides a relationship, Bert could be talking about the days back when he used to do drugs.
  The first verse could be talking about him and a girl/girlfriend using together, and how they never thought of the consequences.
  The chorus and the second verse could be talking about how she realized what she they were doing to themselves, and she stopped and left him, and he wants her back. He's promising her he'll stop if she comes back.
  I don't know, it's just a theory. =]

  General Comment:hmmm... not the best song.
  
  The way I broke your heart very literally (he broke up with a girl, and she was upset)
  This ghost haunts me more than it should be (he feels guilty. and try not to worry about it)
  I'm not gonna walk away or turn my head in shame (hes not ashamed, and he isnt going to avoid her)
  I never thought it could kill me ( then he realises that its hurting him, killing him on the inside)
  
  A clean slate, one more day, further away ( he regrets it and wants to start over with her)
  
  I want you, You don't want me (self explanatory)
  My mistake for wasting yours and mine ( he made a mistake breaking up with her)
  I want you but will you stay with me today ( he wants to go back out with her, but she wont because she's over him, or doesnt want to be hurt again, theres no trust.)
  
  Just let me make some time to take it back a little ( he wants to go back to before, but she wont listen.)
  The way you smile shines the heavens above me (he really misses her, she was important to him)
  Never going to let you go, I want you all the time ( once shes gone he realises what she meant to him.)
  I've got to prove you can trust me ( he knows that he hurt her and that they cant go back.)

  General Comment:Ah, yeah this is such a good one. As others have said- it's one you can relate to. That's what I like about certain songs by The Used; their songs don't all need to have creative metaphors and whatever and still reach audiences. But those are pretty clever, must say.
