Home, home in the late, night
And away, away in the half, life
Except Saturday, crushed by the boring
Until played and plagued by the tourists again
When once you had believed it
Now you see it's sucking you in
To string you along with the pretense
And pave the way for the coming release
Alone and prone in the half, light
And late, late to the real, life
If you will find a way into the gold rush
You will stay until the morning comes
You will normalize
Don't it make you feel alive
And away, away in the half, life
Except Saturday, crushed by the boring
Until played and plagued by the tourists again
When once you had believed it
Now you see it's sucking you in
To string you along with the pretense
And pave the way for the coming release
Alone and prone in the half, light
And late, late to the real, life
If you will find a way into the gold rush
You will stay until the morning comes
You will normalize
Don't it make you feel alive

i think the song is about only having one chance to make it big, to have your fifteen minutes,
and if you make it big, it really will only be short lived and then you're faced with the personal struggle of accepting normality again.
I just love how all the songs on this album blend so seamlessly into each other. Love this.
The only reason I really bovvered to say anything though is because this is Underworld all over. If you like this song and the sound as a whole you should love everything Underworld has done until Darren Emerson left.
Underworld were amazing but I am from Essex
Also, the very end strings remind me greatly of "Lux Aeterna" from the 2001 soundtrack.
