Lyrics for No More Sorrow as interpreted by Feenix

No More Sorrow Lyrics
Are you lost in your lies?
Do you tell yourself I don't realize
Your crusade's a disguise?
Replace freedom with fear
You trade money for lives
I'm aware of what you've done

No
No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

I see pain
I see need
I see liars and thieves abuse power with greed
I had hope
I believed
But I'm beginning to think that I've been deceived

You will pay for what you've done

No
No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

Thieves and hypocrites!
Thieves and hypocrites!
Thieves and hypocrites!

No
No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

(No) No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
(No) Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

(No) Your time has come to be replaced
(No) Your time has come to be erased

once again, quite close

Are you lost in your lies?
Do you tell yourself I don't realize
Your crusade's a disguise?
Replace the freedom with fear
You trade money for lives
I'm aware of what you've done

No
No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes

Your time has come to be replaced

I had hope I believed
But I'm beginning to think that I've been deceived
You will pay for what you've done

No
No more sorrow
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced

Face it, hypocrites!
Face it, hypocrites!
Face it, hypocrites!

Honestly... to me... it sounds like he is saying "Thieves and hypocrites" and not "face it, hypocrites"... and "thieves and hypocrites" makes more sense in the context of the song...

I thought I heard face me hypocrites on the 2nd one. I'm not sure, though. It also seems like he says face it. We can only confirm that when the album comes out.

definately an anti-gov song, like the way LP changed their sound in this song, the guitars and drums sound awesome in the intro. I hear "thieves and hypocrites" when I listen to it tho.

Actually, it's "face it hypocrite!' listen carefully. Chester puts a lot of emphasis on the 'T' in 'hypocrite' ... so much that it sounds like an 's' plural, but it's not...

I agree with Alexd181. I put on my headphones and listened to the song very closely with my X-Fi. It sounds like "Face it, hypocrite." Singular, not plural. Listen to the last of the three repeats to hear more clearly how hypocrite is singular.

Wow, I can't believe my favorite LP song is anti-Bush
But when I first heard it i heard story of a guy who was really pissed off at another guy or a certain group of people
but after re-listening to it i realized it was boot bush
The intro to this song is really what made me love it
it is so insane
its powerful but not too insane at first
and then it gets quiet
then it just explodes into insanity
pure awesomeness

So Linkin Park finally got on the anti-Bush bandwagon along with Green Day and the rest of the bands out there that decided to side against Bush to gain more popularity.

Not that everyone in the band was a hardcore Bush supporter to begin with, but still, this is their first political song.

I don't really put them on that "bandwagon" just yet. To me, they have 3 songs which could be interpreted as being political. This one, Hands Held High, and maybe the Little Things Give You Away. It's only 3 songs out of 12 plus the b-sides they've released. To me, this song just isn't political or anti-bush and I haven't heard any interviews saying it might be. However, I can definatly see why people would say this is anti-bush/anti-gov. You could probably apply every single part of the song except one or two to the whole anti-gov thing but the delivery and a couple other parts just makes it seem like it's not. During their live concert on the 14th, I remember hearing Chester switch the lyrics a bit and saying "But I'm beginning to think that we've been deceived." The key word there is "we've" instead of "i've". I'm sure that will probably make it even more evident for some. I just don't know though...

This song is awesome. Other than "What I've Done", I think this song comes the closest to how the original LP was. Although, my mom said it sounded like Green Day when she heard it >_>

There just should be no more sorrow overall. Everybody's suffering because of the liars and the bastards out there that do bad things... and what the guy's saying is just a mere cry for liberation of all the bad stuff.

It's "Thieves and hypocrites!" If you put on headphones you can hear it really well. The "ves" in thieves is what gives it away. The way Chester pronounces "Th" sounds like "Ph" which is why I can see you all thinking it says "Face" or "Fakes."

Does it matter that much whether it's thieves or fakes? I'm just glad that these lyrics aren't so fucked up as most of the other ones. I wonder if deaf illiterates were the ones submitting these things originally. Both thieves and fakes are bad, and the point of the song is what we're supposed to be driving for here.

And honestly, this song isn't so brazenly bashing anybody directly like most other bands do. Can you really miss the point of American Idiot or some of Disturbed's various songs? This one is more general. I think LP is maybe walking within viewing distance of the wagon, not jumping on it full throttle.

Its not "Thieves and hypocrites!" Maybe if you guys BOUGHT the album and READ the lyrics you would know that its "Face, The, Hyprocrites!"
