  General Comment:I don't know the story between the two mentioned guys and I don't really care about it. (Altough I can relate to someone's idea that it might be a response to MCR's I'm not okay)

  It's most def not about bulimia that would be really stupid. It means that the guy whom this song is about deals as bad with the situation as with running a mile. Most people wouldn't bleed so much, wouldn't complain and cry out this much... as they wouldn't puke after running a mile. It's a double insult.

  General Comment:while many songs by the used can be easily interpreted to be about bert rejecting his parent's mormon religion or getting gay with gee, this song is clearly about tv's john krasinski. bert is like tv's tobias funke in that he is ridiculously straight but says (or sings) openly gay things often to the amusement of myself and other listeners. bert is a genius who loves to mess with people; the definition of a true punk rock master.

  General Comment:without thinking about WHY he wrote it, i think it's basically about giving some one what they deserve. As in someone did something to him, and he hopes that he just chokes and dies. The chorus is about him mocking that someone when they fail, so, saying they get what they deserve and he's not going to help them. thats my take on it.

  General Comment:*sigh* People don't get the "Just like you puke while running a mile"... Its a reference to Gerard's childhood, he was a little on the chubbier side you might say... I like the song, but it bugs me that Bert had to publicly diss Gee. And the title, 'Pretty Handsome Awkward" I feel means that Bert still feels strongly towards Gerard, thinking that he is handsome, but its awkward for him to think that. And someone with 'short, blonde hair' would be Gerard during 'The Black Parade Album'
  And I agree with jacksxrevenge, The Sharpest Lives might have very well been about Bert, considering that Gerard and Bert were drinking buddies. The Sharpest Lives' lines,
  "If I crash on the couch can I sleep in my clothes, 'cause I spent the night dancing, I'm drunk I suppose,"
  "Your the one that I need, I'm the one that you loathe"
  and
  "You can watch me corrode like a beast in repose, 'cause I love all the boys in a way with the boys in the band"
  Yeah.. Enough with that song, but umm... yeah.

  But I love Gerard even more. I just like the song, but what he's actually singing...and if that stuff about Gerard is true...I hate it.

  General Comment:Okay, a lot of people don't seem to understand the "Pretty Handsome Awkward" line in the song.
  
  To me personally:
  It happens to relate to Gerard because, for one Gerard is rather handsome, by many of fans opinions and possibly to Bert. The awkward line is simple, I don't know if you noticed, but Gerard does seem to be pretty awkward around fans at times, or in just a lot of public places. & He was probably like that growing up too, in High School and all, he doesn't seem to me as a VERY outgoing person, only when he's on stage he seems to light up with the dramatics and all.
  
  So yeah, Gerard is pretty handsome and awkward. :D

  General Comment:If it is I really wish the song WASN'T about Gerard..... I mean thats 'pretty low'. I love The Used, but come on.... Although I understand his writing from personal events in his life, even if other people who love Gerard don't like it. I love this song, but I love Gerard too. Its all very conflicting. LOL Either way, this is a good "Fuck You" song for anyone to someone they arent fond of. haha
  
  [Oh, and this song does not resemble any Avenged Sevenfold like qualities.]
