When you die
You have to leave them behind
You should keep that in mind
When you keep that in mind
You'll find
A love as big as the sky
You have to leave them behind
You should keep that in mind
When you keep that in mind
You'll find
A love as big as the sky

a few nights ago i had a dream about the virgin suicides.
it was strange because i got to see and feel why they took their lives.
ceilia slit her wrists because she wanted to know what it felt like to die.cecilia had thoughts of impaling herself but she really didn't want to she just slipped.
anywho this song sorta reminds me of how peaceful death can be.
especially of you slit your wrists in warm water.
you sort of just let your heart flow out of your sleeve and then you float away.
This song, to me, is about realisation that you are not eternal, that you will die someday and that when you do, all the things and people you loved will be gone. Realising that things are not eternal, that they will one day end, will make you love them and appreciate them more, thus finding a "love as big as the sky."
This song is basically about enjoying and loving life because it will someday end.
If they play this one when I see them next week I'll shit myself. (well, probably not, but I will make a spectacle, guarenteed!)
