Neurons make it right
but how can that explain
nobody can tell what the hell they're even saying
no one sees its easier to change
no one sleeps and no one stays awake
and no one complains
and i'll find wherever you go
and i'll help with things you don't know
and i'll get you out of the show
and i'll find wherever you go
There's things that have to give
and never come around
there's opprotunity to tread instead of drown
remarks were raised and ???? settled down
they call them markets instead of towns
they like how it sounds
Most of us are wrong, most of us agree
must have been the wrong message we recieved
If you got a truth, I got a chain
If you've got the truth, i've got a chain
If you've got a feud, i've got a fame
My heart will wear you out, yeah
My heart will wear you down, yeah
My heart will wear you down, yeah
My heart will wear you down
but how can that explain
nobody can tell what the hell they're even saying
no one sees its easier to change
no one sleeps and no one stays awake
and no one complains
and i'll find wherever you go
and i'll help with things you don't know
and i'll get you out of the show

If you've got the truth, i've got a chain

Towards the end, where they say
If you got a truth, I got a chain
If you've got the truth, i've got a chain
If you've got a feud, i've got a fame
It sounds to me like
If you got a truth, I got a chain
If you've got the truth, i've got a tray
If you've got a feud, i've got a fame
Like a tray in jail I was thinking... it just doesn't sound like chain again.
it strikes me as a sort of melancholy lament on life in NA. the perspective sounds like him talking to his SO.
lots of things in this song seem to point to misinformation and consumerism, and the criminalization of dissent."Most of us are wrong, most of us agree", "they call them markets instead of towns",
"If you got a truth, I got a chain". then the end is a warning to his SO
"My heart will wear you down, yeah
My heart will wear you down...."
Great song by the way, though I am not to sure as to what it means.
