I love this song.
The lyrics reminded me of my ex. And when I saw the video, I almost cried.
It really looks to me that this song is about being in a verbal/emotional abusive relationship. My ex went to the bar every night to pick up chicks, and even took pictures of plenty of women on his camera phone. He also went to strip clubs and gentleman's clubs, too. And when I saw that video, I almost died. Also, he'd keep his phone on viberate and walk out the room when someone would call him, and call them back when he was out of sight. He stopping hiding things like this after the breakup.
Anyways, the whole time he did nice things and treated me well in public. Mainly saying good things about me behind my back, though. So that everyone else can see his good side, and hiding his mistreatment of me to the world. So no one would believe me.

Then they would see a stranger too" - At the begining of the relationship, it was great. Then she started seeing a different side of him, and he became a stranger to her. He's not a nice person, he's a mean person. Everyone but her sees that.

Did I ever make you wonder who was standing in the room?" - When she'd call, he'd be with one of the woman he's cheating with. Been there, done that.

So when this goes down, I'm the one that will be blamed" - He's lying about his girlfriend and making himself look good. So in the end, his new girlfriend will blame her for everything that went wrong between the two.

When I think of all the time I've wasted, I could cry" - She went through so much from being with him, that she wasted her time hoping things would get, better when they won't. If she had known from the begining, this wouldn't have happened. She's wasted her time with someone who would never learn to treat her right.
Oh, and the lyrics make absolutely no sense.
