If I tried to leap the moon
would you ever care
would you ever care
and if i left the earth too soon
would you ever dare
would you ever dare
it didn't take much living to see
that I was bound to leave the ground
it didn't take much living to see
that I'm only free when I'm flying
If I tried to make my mark flying through the park
would you ever dare
if I fucked up every start
would you ever care
would you ever care
it didn't take much living to see
that I was bound to leave the ground
it didn't take much living to see
thatI'm only free when I'm flying
flying, when i'm flying, flying
when I'm flying,
flying, I'm flying, flying
if I tried to leap the moon
would you ever care
would you ever care
it didn't take much living to see
that I was bound to leave the ground
it didn't take much living to see
I'm only free when I'm flying
I've got a bone in need of
I've got a bone in need of
I've got a bone in need of breaking
would you ever care
would you ever care
and if i left the earth too soon
would you ever dare
would you ever dare
it didn't take much living to see
that I was bound to leave the ground
it didn't take much living to see
that I'm only free when I'm flying
If I tried to make my mark flying through the park
would you ever dare
if I fucked up every start
would you ever care
would you ever care
it didn't take much living to see
that I was bound to leave the ground
it didn't take much living to see
thatI'm only free when I'm flying
flying, when i'm flying, flying
when I'm flying,
flying, I'm flying, flying
if I tried to leap the moon
would you ever care
would you ever care
it didn't take much living to see
that I was bound to leave the ground
it didn't take much living to see
I'm only free when I'm flying
I've got a bone in need of
I've got a bone in need of
I've got a bone in need of breaking

They use Evil Kinievel as a metaphor for taking risks. And that through taking risks, you can achieve some of the best feelings. Like when he sings, "It didn't take much living to see that I'm only free when I'm flying."
And the outro is great because it's like saying, I'm not afraid to go out and hurt myself, because I know that in doing that something good is bound to happen.
