Oh, you tried to spit in the eye of a dead man's face Attacked the ways of a man not yet in his grave But your hate was over all too soon Because nothing is over, nothing's through 'til we bury you For the love of brother I will sing this fucking song Aesthetics of hate I hope you burn in hell, go Oh, the words I read on the screen left me fucking sick I felt the hatred rising, you son of a bitch You branded us pathetic for our respect But he made us driven, deep reverence far beyond the rest For the love of brother I will sing this fucking words Aesthetics of hate I hope you burn in hell Oh, long live memories Live his freedom vicariously Defend tenfold His honor we'll always uphold For the love of brother I will say these fucking words No silence against ignorance Iconoclast, I hope you burn, burn in hell May the hands of God strike them down May the hand of God strike them down May the hand of God strike them down May the hand of God strike them, strike them May the hands of God strike them down May the hands of God strike them down May the hands of God strike them down May the hands of God strike them

General Comment:I thought this song was to the Marine who shot Dimebag? Because when Robb sings "Your hate was over far too soon" it sounds like, the Marine hated Darrell, so he shot him, which caused the death to be quick, so his revenge was over?

Either way, both men sound like complete idiots, and I bet every fan of Darrell, every band friends with Darrell and every family member of Darrell would love the chance to get revenge both these guys for what they did to him!!
    I sure as hell would!!

General Comment:after reading the article he wrote this as a response

What would YOU know about love or values? What would YOU know about giving to the world? All that you know is teaching prejudice, and your heart is as black as the 'ignorant, filthy, and hideously ugly, heavy metal fans' you try and paint in your twisted, fictitious ramblings. It's because of people like YOU, that there are Nathan Gales in this world, NOT the Dimebags and metal musicians who work to unite people through music.

General Comment:You know, this song may have good music, but the lyrics are immature and horribly crafted. There's a way to channel anger and there's a way not to, and the lyrics in this just make Flynn look like an utter douchebag. A prime example of stooping to one's level.

General Comment:Wow... I just read the article, and I'm almost ashamed to call myself a conservative. I'm... honestly too horrified with that man right now to come up with anything to actually say...
*sigh* R.I.P. Dimebag... God only knows how much the metal world misses you...

General Comment:Just read the Aesthetics of Hate article and it is completely a pile of bullshit. I have a love for both metal, classic rock and classical music such as Bach. William Grim is obviously blinded by a stereotype of metal music, as are most people. His article refers to metal fans as being subhuman and unintelligent, when in fact metal fans hold both areas of an intelligence area, both being within the top 10% and bottom 10% of grade achievements. If Mr. Grim was able to get past his elitist views then he could understand this, with bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Machine Head and Heaven Shall Burn showing that there is such a thing as "Thinking man's metal".
