whats the point of anything? i know this is a lyrics meaning website but i figured that i would say a few things here and there,but only on the songs that have no meaning what so ever,i am just tired of all these retarted bands buring good music such as tool,deftones,rage against the machine, etc....i know this shit is music to your years but to mine its crap, because they have no Originality, there basicly just a tribute to the cure,i am sorry but emotional cross dressers singing about the dead , people killing there self ,dying,vampires,and long walks on the beach with rosie' o donald just dosnt really sum up to even being music as far as i am concern, i am not saying that pepole should play in the traffic by no means.....but what i am saying is people should reflect on who they really are, not play dress up in there sisters clothes and say "guess who i am?"
i am sorry if i offend you (wake_from_reality13) this wasnt ment to be an attack,this was ment to encourage those sheep to stand up and to become leaders......but unfourtantly some pepole just like to point out the cons instead of the pros...

yhh im starting to like this illsaywhatiwant person..go you. i agree with you..and chockie, i really think your a bit judgemental saying that emos are always the victim..mcr have helped alot of kids out there going through a hard time wether they r on substances or what..but i think that gerard way and his crew do alot more for todays socioty that you will ever do in your life.

obviously you could always find someone who'd be pushed by a song to do something stupid, but the majority of listeners just enjoy the song and maybe they even find it comforting... did you ever consider that? :S but seriously though, everyone will say they've gone through shit in their life, it just so happens that some were blessed with the energy to pull themself back up and some weren't... we're not all the same and we're not all as strong as you are or claim to be :\
for example if you were bullied for 8 years, one day finally found a friend and he/she introduced you to drugs, alcohol and the likes, not to mention you've never felt confident any single fucking day of life, you were abused as a child, your dad was an alcoholic who hit you and your mom on a daily basis THEN where on earth does a human being find the inspiration to suddenly get an education and become a so-called 'leader'?

No, that's not my life-story I'm just trying to prove the point that not everyone can help themselves...

This is the most amazing fucking song in the whole world. It helped me through a really hard time. "Singing songs that make you slit your wrists it isnt that much fun" is the line that finally made me realise that I needed to get up and do something about my misery so to you people that say that this music is shit that drives people to do stupid things, you're all wankers because it's not true. It stopped me killing myself and I'm betting it did the same for someone else out there too. So fuck off and listen to your bloody RnB shit.

EmpireOfDirt... let people listen to what they want to listen to. This debate has been done thousands and thousands of times. What's the problem with people not listening to the music you like? So what if they're closed minded, I don't see why you should care. I don't listen to band's like MCR or FOB or whatever (I personally prefer mainly black metal or death metal bands) but do you see me flaming the fans on their forums? Find something better to do than sit at home on the net and flame people's music tastes. It's insignificant. It's not going to affect your life in any way. Get over it and get a life.
