    General Comment:I saw a Fran Healy solo show the other night, where he talked about the meanings behind some of the songs. Closer, he said, was written to express that thing that happens between people, couples that have been together for a while and start to lose that spark, and that need to just put that extra effort into the relationship, appreciating the other person and just falling back in love with them.

    General Comment:this song reminds me of my ex, we've been on and off and now on again, but we're not "officially" back together, im away for school, ldr thing, and its just not a good idea to get back into it, but the part where it says...

    its just so us, we broke up then didn't talk for months, then we started talking again, slowly, but obviously the loves still there, but yeah now things are mellow now and we're just taking it slow, but this song describes us perfectly

    General Comment:when you are closer, it's better than when you are far away from each other. I know that for a fact, because my this girl that is my one and only, the one that made me fall in love again after 2 years is far away from me now, and it's just difficult. When we were together in our birthplace, we were an amazing couple, and freaking happy. Everyone could have seen that from us, but we had to leave, because I needed to come and finish up some stuff and she had to go as well for her future, and it's just difficult that we're far from each other that you get depressed, and you don't think straight. I know I'll be with her again, because my thoughts about her are so strong that it's gotta happen again. I just let that to the universe to do that for me, I don't know how its gonna do that, but it will know when the time is right to meet again with her. I soooo miss her much and love her...MUZ
