Great song I have only listened to it two or three times now but I can not decide whether it is talking about punishing and killing the father for the rape or a story of a father that rapes his girl and then for one reason or another by the end kills her. Lines like, "If I can't have you no one will", make me think it's the daughter and not the father dieing at the end. Which do you guys think it is.
Mark is telling the story of a Father, who does not live with his family (separated/divorced?) raping his daughter and then deciding to kill her in the woods when he realizes if he can't have her no one can. Only afterward does he have some remorse when he asks what he has done.
Mark is an awesome singer/writer and Chimaira are an amazing group.
