also, definitely agree about a Pixies vibe in this song
1) his mother WAS born in West Virginia.
2) his mother married a Pentecostal preacher
3) when they performed this song on the O2 in London Live DVD as soon as they finished this song Caleb thanked his mother for being there.
The first two alone are enough to tell you it's about their mom, #3 could be debated.

I read somewhere that the song was about a preachers wife from when he was younger ("Married to the preacher oh no")and he wasnt allowed to go near her or something. I cant remember properly, which is annoying.
Not my favourite song off the album, but is pretty awesome when I get past the screams, lol.
