I never really focused on the lyrics, but just the creepy tune. Everyone death cab fan i know says that this song annoys them, but i doesnt anoy me, it's one of my most played on 'you can play...' The weirdness of it definately keeps me interested

Yeah I was very bored the other day and lately I've been trying to figure out lyrics to any songs that there are no lyrics to ever since I found out the lyrics to "Dustin Hoffman Does Not Resist Temptation to Eat the Bathtub" by Of Montreal (my favorite band). Yeah I always thought I was horrible at deciphering lyrics until then but finding out the lyrics to this song was really really difficult. I got the people over at the official DCFC lyrics to proofread for me like I did with "Dustin Hoffman..." so they're better than they would be if I just went straight to submitting them. This song doesn't annoy me I like it a lot.

I hate this song. I usually never hate songs, but this one is one I hate. Why did Death Cab write this? It is a piece of crap. I absolutely love DCfC with every vein in my body, but this song is annoying and creepy and awful.

the first time i heard this song i had a death cab playlist on my computer that i set before i went to bed
and around three am i woke up to

and i got so scared i had to cover my ears til it was over
because obviously this song is way different than death cab so i did NOT know what was going on with my computer

but then someone showed me frontier psychiatrist by the avalanches and it made me think of this song

so i looked back on it and realized yes, it must be about a LSD trip
and i didn't find it scary anymore.. actually now i find it rather interesting

Annoying? I think it is one of the finest Death Cab songs; it's great that a band can be so versatile, and come on it's not like they made an entire album like this. I love that this one song stands out on YCPTSWC.

The first time I heard this, even before actually listening to the lyrics, I thought of an LSD trip. I actually like this. I love when Death Cab takes excerpts of spoken word and puts them in their songs.
