Methinks it's on somebody who's going through lots of pain, an' they're cutting to deal with it. Maybe people are askin' if they're ok, and they keep saying "I'm fine."
Maybe a friend betrayed them or hurt them somehow. I also get the feeling somebody already suicided (The bit about the bullet in the second verse.)

I totally know what this is talking about.
I think it's about somebody whos a cutter, but then also from the view of his friends.

It's pretty obvious what the song's talking about. Just like the rest of their songs, it's really straight forward and to the point.
A friend or close person to the singer commited suicide. He was a great friend and everything...but he was having so many problems that suicide was pretty much his "only way out". He talkd about suicide but always said it was a joke, or pretend. Then he did commit suicide and now the singer feels like it took both of them instead of just him. So it's talking about a domino pattern of deaths, so it seems.

this song is about their friend who commited suicide. about amonth or 2 ago they posted a bulliten on myspace about their friend that they lost to suicide and about 2 weeks later they put this song up.

wow. amazing song. i am fully obsessed woth it.

Yes, quite obviosly its about suicide. A close friend was selfharming(cutting) and talking shit about suicide, but as a joke "...just a real friend who planned his end and where do I began you said it was pretend" Then actually did it. The artist feels as he was part of it, therefore making him lose hinself as well.

OMFG I LOVE THIS SONG! i listen to it almost everyday!!

I wouldn't have normally found myself listening to this song, but I came across it on a friend's myspace and loved it. There is a lot of emotion behind it...a great and tragic song.

Here's what I think this song's about.

It's talking about this guy who cuts himself to deal with all the things in his life. He just wants all of it to go away, so he commits suicide. He had told his friends about it, but they had always thought he was only kidding about it. It's really hard on his friends, that when he took his life, it took theirs too.
