The reverse side of beauty
It dyed by beloved filth
The reverse side of beauty
It dyed by beloved filth

genwaku no umi shizun da hotaru
hitei ha yokkyuu jou no uso
mujun de somaru taion
risei koumuru aibu ni
odori tokekomu haru (shun) ha fui ni
kegarawashiku?
My mind which falls

Your seed and my seed never mixes.
The connection of this blood is eternal
You cannot finish supprissing the desire
To true daughter...

[sexual disgrace]

toiki fusagu myakuutsu 'ue' ha
wakari ae nu guren (guren) o motomu

Closet mind is disorted instability.
please release me before breaking.
how long...
in humiliation
the countless fatal scar was born.

[sexual disgrace]

Prohibited bud..
Reckless driving memory...
The kin'collapses...
Near relatives on death...
The smell of cigarette smell breath and shitt
Moment that bitter white jam is mixed
Inside of a brain caused an error
and goes mad by the sweet bug

kubi o hawa su shitasaki to te
nozomu hyoujou guren ni somare

Closet mind is disorted instability.
please release me before breaking.
So long..
In humiliation
The final art is your dead face

Dad which fell to the trap
Don't let him get hold of the grip

General Comment:This song I believe is a criticism of Japanese society, the Gazette have a way with metaphorical and deep lyrics, as many are saying it does deal with incest, and non-consensual in this (see Sugar Pain for the opposite) and may be an attempt at keeping purity with this particular family or punishment, I don't understand the darker-side of japanese society, so this is just an intepretation. The Gazette have a real talent with their lyric writing, and on Ruki's Ingrish he has some talent in the ability to work his english lyrics in a way that adds meaning and depth to the song, who cares if you can't understand it at first, three or four listens and you start to understand especially with the amount of GazettE songs featuring english...

General Comment:awwh Ruki and his Engrish

I think they've said before that their videos dont aways reflect their songs,
but the pv for this does seem to go with the song.
    I don't know.

General Comment:To "TheMathNerd111", me and my friend were really trying to figure out the whole disgusting old man part.
And we thought that it might be his fantasy seeing its kind of about incestuous rape.
That's what me and my friend gathered from it.

    But I'm not 100% sure.

General Comment:Incestuous rape sounds accurate, but then again, if you watch the video, there's this disgusting old man looking like he's getting it on with this much younger girl. It could be a Lolita reference, since in the book Humbert was a "father" figure to Lolita (course, there was more to it in his mind than that :shudder:), and his life ultimately spirals downward, like in the end of the song.

General Comment:Ok! These lyrics are ACCURATE. I saw some online scans of the official sheet music for Filth in the Beauty and these were the lyrics they had for the english parts! Well this version here is missing some repeated parts but I guess thats ok..

General Comment:I know what you mean. I've seen both versions of the lyrics and they both fit and both have some weird areas. Plz someone get us some official lyrics! These really seem like incestuous rape.

Ok I just spent some time really listening to it loudly and repeatedly and I think these lyrics are more accurate. I cant say for the japanese part but these english parts sound more accurate. Its a pity they have that other version circulating the net tho since I found that a lot more than this version.

And now I love this song even more. Plz check out the video, all. It is awesome. I love it. And the headbanging scene in the middle gave me a joygasms ^_^

General Comment:uhm.. has anyone got these lyrics from an 'official' type thing, like lyric books or whatever, 'cos I found a totally different version on a couple of other sites and its freaking me out because they both seem to fit when I read them with the song playing.. and they dont seem weird enough to be parody thingies before you say it..
In the other version the english bits go:

    my mind no reaching forth
no wasting and messiness thats missing
jika? show desperate feels each other
you cannot play with selfishness itself
    temptation on sexual disgrace
    __

    Don't tuoch my eye
    the sorrow is shouting
please recue me, before I'm breaking in
    come on....
    you can only shout
just come to realisation to watch it fall
    __

don't give up til you fight it,
    lets get ready baby
    don't keep counting paces
you're gunna let yourself be tested

so wont you yourself accept it?
why wont you look up and wait on me
he isnt a robot, big and dominant
dnt lose my heart just that way
