Icons, Abstract Thee may be one of my favorite albums of all time.
Each song is just bursting with different levels of emotion.
This one resonates with uncontrolled, bitter resentment. So many different facets of Kevin! I can't even put it into words.

I kind of can't handle this song. It's so unbelievably sad.

I cannot listen to this song without becomming depressed. It remindes me of a realtionship that has no hope.

"As we struggle against some impossible current" "Is happiness even possible?"

And when you think about how kevin must hav felt, going through his divorce, his problems with accepting he has a child, his whole breakdown, you really can see why he feels like there is no hope. He probably thinks his depression is such a burden on him and his family that he is telling his wife, you can leave me whenever you want.
