Gonna take off all my skins
Tell them pull out all my insides
When they rifle in,
Mom and dad think you'll be saved

They never had the time,
They're gonna medicate your lives
You were always born a crime
We salute you in your grave!

Can't find my way home
But it's through you and I know
What I'd do just to get back in your arms

Can't find my way home
But it's through you and I know
What I'd do just to get back in your arms

[Well my gun, fires seven different shades of shit, so whats your favorite color, Punk?]

Do you want to hold my hand?
Could you sign this photograph?
Cause I'm your biggest fan.
Would you leave me lying here?

We're not here to pay a compliment
And sing about the government
Oxycodine genocide
Adolescent suicide
I'll give you my sincerity
Don't give a fuck about a Kennedy
Here's what I've got to say!

Can't find my way home
But it's through you and I know
What I'd do just to get back in your arms

Can't find my way home
But it's through you and I know
What I'd do just to get back in your arms

Ohhhh
Whoa, Yeah yeah oh.
[We've got to go! x7]

Can't find my way home
But it's through you and I know
What I'd do just to get back in your arms

Can't find my way home
But it's through you and I know
What I'd do just to get back in your arms

Can't find the way, can't find the way
Can't find the way-ay-ay-ay-ay
Can't find the way, can't find the way
Can't find the way-ay-ay-ay-ay

[C'mon angel, dont you cry, C'mon angels dont you cry x2]

General Comment:These lyrics are a little off, it's 'Oxycontin', not 'Oxycodine'. Amazing song!

General Comment:Okay, seriously, you guys. The line IS 'well, my GUN FIRES seven different shades of shit.' And i'd think the meaning would be obvious. gerard's got a gun that fires seven different shades of shit, and if you all don't stop arguing about pointless things, he will shoot you wit dat shizzit.

Anyways. I have NO clue how to interpret this song as a whole ._.

General Comment:I believe that this song is about the fans that have been "saved" by My Chemical Romance: (..mom and dad think you'll be saved). They think that you'll be saved because they give you medications for the depressions that you have. They never ask why they are depressed because quite frankly, they just dont care. Sadly. So this is really about the fans. How they like my chemical romance. Like that one girl that commited suicide by hanging herself in the UK (i think) and was clearly obsessed with this band. She listened to them alot but she couldnt take it with her abusive parents. So she would be an example of this "...biggest fan". (Not the only fan keep in mind). And how much these people like MCR and leave the earth because of their own hand or a parents.
When they sing the chourus, they are speaking through the fans voice. Saying that "their only way home is through the band" sorta. The way they escape all the madness is with the sounds of MCR. At the political speaking part it is saying how with all of the publicity that they get from the constantly rising fan base that they really dont care about the politics and actually hate it. They won't say how they are for some president or some governer just for a million dllrs from the press. They keep it together for what it is...music. This is wrapped together with the fans meaning that they know that if they get politics involved many fans will die off. (figure of speech! they dont usually actually kill themselves for that :P) "What I'd do just to get back in your arms"...fans saying how they want to get back into their parents arms again like they did when they were small.

I really like this song because at first i didnt quite get what they were saying. But when i read the lyrics it all suddenly made sense. I was singing along with it as though I had known it for years. But i haddenet. the whole purpose of the song became completely obvious! It's hard to explain the hwole purplse of everything but if i were to talk to you personally I would be able to explain it much much better. Hope this elped you out with the real reason.....and...one last thing....FUCK ALL THE HATERS OF MCR BECAUSE THEY ARE MY SAVIOUR AND I LOVE THEM LIKE THE DREAMS THAT COME OUT OF MY YOUNG, GROWING MIND! lol but...seriously...i hate haters and want to throw a hammer with spin on it at their faces and hear that skull of theirs crack and break and blood drip out of thier eye sockets and fall to the ground and then choke on their own blood! then take a saw and slice their head off and then dip it into preservating gloss and let it dry and then hang it from a chain on my ceiling because then the other haters heads wouldnt be as lonly hanging up there.

General Comment:Yeah, I agree with everyone who said he's ALMOST making fun of crazy, screaming at the top of their lungs, hyperventilating fans. But he's also definitely making a point about parents who leave the kids out there to be overly-influenced by a rock band.

"Do you want to hold my hand?
    Could you sign this photograph?
    Cause I'm your biggest fan.
Would you leave me lying here?"

That last line makes you think of some silly underage girl who has sneaked into the hotel room and laying there waiting for a band member to come in and find her. But, it's a blunt song all around.

General Comment:Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics: Even if you win you're still retarded.

I'm so very sorry, but I had to say that.

My Interpretation:Well I think this song is pretty blunt, not literal. But the great thing about MCR's songs are that they mean different things to different people =D. These lyrics are quite off, but here's how i interpret this song.

Gerard is saying that his fans parents/elders misunderstand these kids obsession with them and think that my chem is "turning them into a suicide cult", when really the fans find home in my chem (a place they feel loved and safe)
When it talks about his gun firing seven different shades of shit, I think Gerard's teasig the parents, and mockingly being the bad guy, and pretending to kill the teens that love him.

and the fans are begging to meet Gerard and the band, and the parents dissaprove and the fan's begging Gerard "would you leave me lying here?" meaning "can you really leave me with them? YOUR my home". And when it says "Angel dont you cry" Gerard's comforting his fans when they're upset about they're parents misunderstanding their love with my chem who saved them.

General Comment:I cannot believe it was that hard, for the people in the beginning comments, to hear that the words are "Well my Gun, Fire seven different shades of shit, So whats your favorite color, punk?" Honestly, its not THAT hard to hear that line in the song. But either way, I love this song a lot. More than the majority of the songs on TBP. I am glad they said they are coming back to their -rockier roots, for the next album. Thank God. I like the Black Parade, but they definitely needed change for the next album.
