I think it could be a life long friend turning their back but also to me it kinda sounds like the fans "we gave all of ourselves to entertain you" and i know the part where it says "my breath was your breath" like the words they sang you held just as true as they did. And they are saying fine turn your backs on us because we are still takeing over the world.

this song is about a boy named austin jac and he had a friend that they were super close and then that friend turned his back on him and lie about alot of things and it hurt him so bad that it felt like it was a shot and where the dark comes from is because it was outta no where...

so if there was a band with no lyrics and nothing but breakdowns you would like them???
do you expect a band to do nothing but breakdowns through the whole song??? you have to have some light parts or else it defeats the purpose of a 'breakdown'
turn your hearing aid's on.
this song is amazing, ADTR is amazing. the best.

and yeah if you search this song jeremy says its about shit talking on the internet but i don't see how that puzzles in at all.

STD, i didn't even mention anything about their lyrics...i'm just saying if they had no breakdowns, they would pretty much sound like a tad bit heavy verison of fall out boy...which would be pretty homo.

sounds like fans (those bellend "xcore kids") WHO loved them before they became quite popular and then as soon as a label picked them up they turned their backs on the band "this couldnt have come at a better time" possibly saying it's a new album and a fresh start possibly i dunno lol

To fully appreciate this song you have to listen to it on a good sound system. I listened to it at my friends house and in the middle of the breakdown, you can feel the bass drop(button) in your spleen!
