    Song Meaning:The music video is about a man just released from prison who is trying to turn his life around not just for himself, but his girlfriend and their young child too. Eventually he finds work as a mechanic. One night, he comes home late to his girlfriend who was worried but they quickly embrace after he takes a knee and presents her with a diamond ring he bought from the same store he supposedly stole from.

    I think the meaning of this song, when you look at it from the video, is that doing the right thing when given a second chance will not only benefit you, but the ones you love and want to start over on good terms with.

    General Comment:Has anyone noticed how much this song fits with Fuel's Hemmorage? Sing "It's not Over" to "Hemmorage." It fits perfectly. Just thought it would be worth mentioning. The harmonies are almost a direct ripoff. No wonder it's not a bad song.

    Basically, it's all self-explanatory...the relationship seems to be dwindling, but he's pretty much saying it's not over, he still loves her no matter what.

    General Comment:I absolutely love this song! It is is so heartfelt, and yeah, it is pretty self-explanatory. No hidden meaning, just straight to the point, a man telling his girlfriend or wife or whatever that he loves her. Keep up the good work, Chris Daughtry! :)

    General Comment:Lol so many people in January said that this song was going to be huge. That was around about the time when i first heard it on American top 40 in Australia lol and I was like yeah this is a really cool song i hope it gets into the Aussie charts, and guess what? it did! a couple of months later i started hearing it all over the radio and i was like wow this is like a huge hit now! anyway im rambling on about crap now so yeah i reckon this is a great song and he is singing about a girl he loves dearly so no matter what, he is not going to let anything get in the way of their love even if that means him dying. i'm out xx

    I reckon its about a relationship thats about to die...
    But he's in such denial
    "It's not over..."

    Hes saying she means the world to him
