They can smell your blood" is maybe after he's dumped her again, and now other men are trying to move in on her while she's hurt, you know like trying to be a rebound guy

This unfortunate businessman was either run out of business or bought up by a larger corporate scum. Or, he was eaten by a shark.

He might be angry that he was put out so easily, though he worked very hard to get where he was.

This is a big one. This can mean that the larger businesses know if you are struggling and they can try to buy your business so that you don't have to worry about it.

This can mean that the large corporations act like their goal is to help the smaller ones by buying their business and relieving them of it, but they really don't care. In fact, the last line "I'm gonna eat every man that you see" could possibly indicate that he's going to buy up even more businesses to expand his profits.
Well, that's all. To review: I KNOW THAT THIS SONG PROBABLY JUST MEANS THAT A GUY WAS EATEN BY A SHARK. I was just saying that it could fit for more than one thing.

Just to add another theory, I think that "The belly of a shark" refers to depression or anger after a tough divorce. It doesn't completely apply every part, but Frank wrote several songs about his divorce (was that Frank?) and it seems likely this one is too. "Now all I have to do Is convince you to come in too." means that he wants his ex to either physically suffer or be in the same depressed state of mind he's in. "I'm gonna eat every man that you see" seems simple enough: he's gonna ruin her life. Happy, isn't it? Awesome song though.
