I always flirt with death
I could kill, but I don't care about it
I can face your threats
Stand up tall and scream and shout about it

I think I'm on another world with you
I'm on another planet with you

You always get under my skin
I don't find it irritating
You always play to win
I don't need rehabilitating

Another girl, another planet
Another girl, another planet

Space travels in my blood
And there ain't nothing I can do about it
Long journeys wear me out
Oh God we won't live without it

Another girl is loving you now
Another planet, forever holding you down
Another planet

General Comment:i used this song for a philosophy assignment and it could also be compared to the theory of forms, aka when hes with this girl/drug (lol) he feels so perfect, as if he is actually experiencing the perfect version of it, taken from the hypothetical imperfect world-- which can be an allusion for another planet.

General Comment:To me this song is saying that every girl is different and to move on to someone new is to like go to a different planet. Nothing is the same

General Comment:I first heard this song about fifteen years ago, and I've only just realised it's a love song to heroin. Once you see it, it's so obvious: 'i look ill', 'you get under my skin', 'i won't need rehabilitating' [i.e. rehab], 'space travel's in my blood', 'I can't live without it'.

I should have guessed as soon as Pete Doherty started hanging out with Peter Perrett and saying how amazing he was.

General Comment:Grammatically correct is "Space travel's" but apart from that the lyrics are accurate. Blink 182, The Replacements, REM, The Cure, The Libertines etc. all had their own variations of the text. Check out Wikipedia's entry for this song.
