    General Comment:I only just broke up with my x of 2 years. This song is currently how I feel I have accepted and moved on now and will grow stronger for it. This song basically shows how feel. I'm picking myself up at the moment and piecing myself back together. I'm over her now and seeing a great new girl. She's with someone new it's just life and I self destructed for a while but I'm ok now :).

    Memory:This song is pretty important to me right now and I guess I feel I should share my story too. So I dated my (now ex) boyfriend for 9 months and I'll honestly say they were the best of my life. I loved him with everything I had and I fought so hard for him. There were times when I could've easily gotten away with cheating on him and I was even asked to prom but I said no to everything just for him. I was always there for him and I did my best to talk to him and see him and he really meant the entire world to me. When summer came around, I realized he changed a little but I put it behind me and thought it was just a phase. While we were on the phone a week ago, we mutually agreed to break up because he had a lot of personal stuff to deal with and he just wasn't into it anymore. Well his best friend ratted him out about how he lied to me about a lot of things over the summer and how he flirted with other girls and how he talked shit about me and stopped caring. I called my ex and that phone call pretty much confirmed everything his friend told me and it made me see that my ex's excuse was total bullshit and at that point I was just totally disgusted but I still thought I would never get over him. It's been a week and I can honestly say I really don't care too much for him anymore. He was a real jerk and I deserve so much better. I can't wait for the day karma goes and kicks his ass ten times harder than he hurt me. This song describes all my feelings right now, and if he ever calls me again, it's an automatic no.

    General Comment:obviously the meaning is someone getting over a bad relationship. but watching the video i see a second meaning. it sort of makes me think of someone beating addiction.

    General Comment:lol, I'm listening to tons of breakup songs and so far this is the easiest to relate because the fact is, when I was rejected by someone I liked, I felt so much better than I thought I would because now I was free to think new thoughts instead of wasting my time thinking about a person who didn't like me back. I'm sure this song is about a divorce and a lot of his other songs are about divorces too, but this is a cool one

    General Comment:This reminds me of my last relationship. She was always there for me, and I was always there for her, but she never took advantage of it. She left me after 2 months even after she said she loved me and she always would. Now I'm getting over her.

    General Comment:It's obviously about getting over someone. It doesn't necessarily mean a bf/gf. It could be a friend.
    Today I had a fight with my friend, and I stumbled across this song. At first, I just listened to it because I was bored and I like Daughtry's voice, but when I listened to the lyrics, I realized how much it fit. I figure it's a sign that our friendship is really over.
    Oh well.

    General Comment:i think its about not wanting to get hurt.... but then you let your guard down and you fall in love with them, you feel like they aren't gonna hurt you... but then they just let you down. you're trying to find a way to get over them and you feel so dumb because you fell for them in the first place!

    i think artists like chris daughtry are under rated..... so what if he's an american idolist?! he has talent.... his songs have meaning, they make you think and he deserves more credit for his work.
