These lyrics are so amazingly simple, and yet it works so well with the music... Whenever I listen to it, I start to picture this music video with two people holding on to each other, one of them whispering "I was afraid I wouldn't find you", filmed in a Sofia Coppola sort of way (over exposed lighting, camera turning around the characters)... The same words are repeated 4 times, as if he couldn't say anything else because he's so overwhelmed with emotion.

I agree, The lyrics are great,and still mean alot.
But Ive noticed most of Radio Dept.'s lyrics are all about losing someone and finding them again.

i have this theory about the album pet grief - i think the entire album is about having to deal with the end of a relationship and seeing the person you used to love and possibly still love, move on and start to be involved with another person...and the feelings that come with that. it fits almost every song.
