For all those who want the software to play songs backwards:

Download a free program called Audacity here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

then open a song in the program, select all, and pick "reverse" from under Effect. Works for me; hope it helps you! :)

it's a little hard to make out some of the words, but this is totally awesomee

dont mean to be all pessimistic on ya guys
but i only hear the 'i'll slit my wrists' bit
which is like 4 words out the long list of lyrics surposedly there.
so maybe just cuz someone added the lyrics and suddenly agrees thats what theyre hearing because some one already put it in their heads.

or maybe im just lacking in hearing skills???

i meant like - that the lyrics that are surposedly there are only heard once someones put them into your head. so by reading the lyrics your brain searches for a way for it to fit and makes sense of gerards gurgles. because if you hear the song before you read tho the lyrics its just a nice tune...

did that make better sense?

the reason that gerard cut and dyed his hair was bc he is supposed to represent the patient and the patietnt is sick so he cut his hair and dyed it blonde to make him look sickly. he has already dyed it back black and looks like he is growing back out. i saw him at the topeka show(wow it was amazing)

Well if you put the lyrics in front of somebody, of course they're going to hear them... I really can't hear half of the lyrics posted here unless I know what I'm trying to hear... quite a few of the ones I can hear are kind of a stretch, too.

Nonetheless, I feel completely freaked out considering I even heard that much. That would be a VERY bizarre coincidence if it wasn't intentional. :S

to be honest. i think very little of that was intentional.

could gerard really write a whole song that made perfect sense forwards and backwards?

i think the end of the song in reverse was most probably planned.
i can imagine gerard sitting with a tape recorder quoting phrases into it that were to depressive to reveal in the actual song and playing it backwards to see if it worked.
most people know that gerard was in a 'bad place' for some time.

and also, i think that the reason some lyrics make no friggin sense is cuz that was accidental. isnt it kinda hard to make a backwards song make sense at all?

A reversed song. Is a song that is played in reverse. Not many songs reveal a hidden song. Or message but this is one of them and it is quite freaky..and very ironic. Due to the whole "I miss you" feeling of ghost of you..but in reverse u find out that he misses her because he killed her. Its very revealing. Good job MCR for writing a masterpeice...if you did in fact write it purposley or not
