This could be a reference to the lyric in Untitled 1:
"When we were kids you were the sun to which my eyes could not adjust"

Maybe he's saying that the girl this song is about isn't like the girl referred to in Untitled 1?

this is one of the angriest songs that jesse has written about a girl so far, in my opinion.
he even makes a reference to a turned down proposal or something along those lines when he says "Say you're my friend but why won't you be my family?"
its a really bitter song overall.

i am parker lewis: I'm sure Brand New apologizes thoroughly for trying to mix up their sound a little bit so that every song on their new album doesn't sound the same. If this song does sound a tad on the men women and children side, I would also like to add that it is "Not a Problem"......
