    General Comment:at first I thought this song was not about someone who leaves, but then I began to skim over the lyrics and saw "and when you find everything you've looked for..." and now I start to think that this is actually about this guy she has crush on but he has to leave.

    this is one of my favorites because I always think of this guy I've been liking since middle school, and to my surprise he seemed to have an interest of me too. we weren't dating but we were almost there. I never told him I like him, neither did he. he's always been the shy type and I've too, and that's probably what leaded us into nothing but running back full circle. now he's gone out of town to continue his study and we don't talk that much anymore. I know he's been wanting to be a technician all his life, so... when he finds everything he's looked for, I hope his life leads back to my door. but if it doesn't...I hope he'll stay beautiful :)

This is a song I wrote about a guy I never dated! Wow, right? Haha. This song is about a guy I thought was cute, and never really talked to him much. But something about him inspired this song, just watching him."

    Song Meaning:this is one of my fave T Swift Songs. I like to interpret stories with T Swift songs so I think it's telling a story about a guy (named Cory) and a girl who are dating in high school, the guy is a senior and the girl is a sophmore, possibly a junior and the time frame, in my opinion is August ( a few weeks before he gradutes). The guy isn't necessarily the most popular guy in school (I like to think that he's the nerdy type :p ) but he's definitely the most good looking and has the best personality and he's charming and because of that all the girls (including the one he's with) want to be with him but he has no knowledge of that because he just see's himself as a "normal" guy and only has eyes for the girl (this scenario is highlighted in the lyric "there's pretty girls on every corner they watch him as he's walking home sayin' "does he know?" will you ever know?"). He's a good bf he does a lot for the girl and he makes her laugh a lot , and the girl is savoring these last days they have together so when she's he's gone off to college she can always have the memories to comfort her, and she wants to tell him how much he means to her but she can never find the right time ( Cory finds another way to be the highlight of my day...taking pictures in my mind so I can save them for a rainy day..It's hard to make conversation when he's taking my breath away..I should say hey by the way {chorus}) Fast forward to the weekend he is about to leave, they have their last moments together and the girl tells Cory that he is too good to be true and she doesn't know if they will ever see each other again but she wants him to know that he's a beautiful person inside and out and that he will go far, she isn't upset about his leaving because she just wants him to be happy but if he ever wants to look her up once he finds everything he's looking for, she hopes and prays that they are both in good position to re conncet and pick up where they left off..but if not and they end up finding new loves or never seeing each other again, she wants him to never change and to simply "stay beautiful" :) So basically they both mutually break up, but it's a good one because they are grateful for the memories. I like how TSwift made this song happy and sunny and not depressing and how the girl narrating the story seems mature and not whiny and clingy. It's a good song for couples who are in their last stages of high school or who have to leave each other for whateveer reason. Great song!

    General Comment:I don't think this song is really about someone leaving. It never really indicates that anyone is leaving- you can take it that way, if you want- but I always thought the song was more about just loving someone, but if you can't be with them one day, you just want them to stay beautiful. But pretty much the same thing, I guess. And in songs, you can take them how you want, anyways. :) Either way, great song.

    General Comment:To me this song is about someone you're in love with or love, or just find plain beautiful and they're leaving you, and one day you hope to see them again. Analysis in parenthesis.

    There's this guy and he's oh so beautiful, but he's leaving for college next year, and I hope to see him again one day.

    My Interpretation:I think this is a song about a guy that doesn't know that every girl dreams of being with that is just very sweet. A girl likes him, but for some reason they can never be together. So she lets him go, but hopes that after everything he wants to do is over he'll come back to her.

    General Comment:ok, so Honestly didnt care enough to looke through everyones comments, but my interpretation is because of a recent situation, where the girl really loves or likes the guy, everytime he is anywhere near her, he pretty much makes her day. Even if he can't see it, she knows he's going to be great at whatever he does. As much as she wants to be with him, its more important that he knows he is a beautiful person and going to be great. and most importantly, even if she never sees him again, he needs to stay true to him self. Stay beautiful, don't ever change <3
