Bang, where we going, what we doing this night
I feel drunk already, maybe my drink got spiked
But more like the other like that I'm just a lightweight
But I don't care, man, I been drunk forever I'm sedated
Hatred, I'm sedated, pages, I'm sedated
Worthwhile stages, cages, and all of my rage
This is a good time to start dancing to that song man
The good one, DJ, play that record of mine
So where be Joey, get me a drink of dimple whiskey
Look at the lady she be shady no but maybe
What you doing where you going to hereafter?
She said get the fuck out man you seem to be so plastered
We been all the night drinking and staring at girls alike
You know what man What goes on?
Drink your can, walk it drunk down The Strand
Talk about how you skipped the whole club queue
Who the fuck are you?
Your heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin and stackin them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin and stackin them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Well, I remember shootin shit down down the old alleyways
Talking tragedies and music like Billie Holiday
I remember what we're doing then but can't remember now
It's the past, it's the future but
I don't know how to carry on through the rights and wrongs
Kick it like we know the songs already
Before we rock steady down and on the dancefloor
I don't get no fights when I get angry drunk
Sit down in the corner, man, I'll soak my fuckin' socks off
So who the fuck are we Just the boys in the city
It's all been done before and we'll do it again so
See you later you alligators
We'll be back I'm sure ?
So bye, bye, bye I'll try never to ?
We are so young we don't understand if we cannot fly(?)
So we're here now but we'll be gone soon
Not today, not tomorrow, not the next two
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin and stackin' them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin and stackin them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin and stackin them lines
I say, calm down dearest

i dunno but when he says:
I've sedated hatred I've sedated pages
I've sedated worthwhile cages stages and all of my rage
it sort of suggests that he's getting drunk to forget his problems
and i think maybe the chorus is like him talking to himself but that's a theory i just came up with so i dunno
PS I love the sound clip after the song on the cd
"Yeah you're cool, Twat! Fucking cunts doing wheelies on bikes, man. I just wanna fucking run um over."
I think it's "sit down in the corner and i SULK MY FUCKIN SUDS UP"
makes more sense, or maybe soak, but definatly suds, which is slang for beer for those not savvy
Big bang, where we going what we doin this night
I feel drunk already maybe drink got spiked
But more likely of the like that I'm just a lightweight
Well I don't care man I've been drunk forever
I've sedated hatred I've sedated pages
I've sedated worthwhile cages stages and all of my rage
This is a good time to start dancing to this song man
A good one dj play the record on man
So where be Joey get us a drink a dimp of whiskey
And look at the lady she be shady but we maybe
What you doing where you going to there after
She said get the fuck out man you seem to be so plastered
And we be all the night drinking it staring at the girls alike
It's all good man what goes on drink your can
Walking it drunk down the Strand
And talk about how you missed the whole club queue
Well who the fuck are you
Chorus x2
Heavy it's on my mind
Say you feel just fine
Racking stacking lines
I said calm down dearest
I remember shooting shit down the old alleyways
Talking tragedies of music like old Holiday
I remember what we doing and I don't remember now
It's the past it's the future
I don't know how to carry on though the rights and wrongs
Kick it like we know the songs
Already before we rock steady down and on the dancefloor
Well I don't get no fights when I get angry drunk
I sit down in the corner and I sulk my fucking socks off
So who the fuck are we? Just the boys in the city
It's all been done before and we do it again so
We'll see you later alligators
We'll be back I'm sure next week sitting in the bar you know
So good bye bye
We'll never try never to die but
We're so young we don't understand if we canna fly
So we're here now but we will be gone soon
But not today not tomorrow not the next tune
Chorus x2
I feel drunk already, maybe drink got spiked
But more likely of the like that I’m just a lightweight
But I don’t care, man, I been drunk forever I’m sedated
Hatred, I’m sedated, pages, I’m sedated
Worthwhile cages, stages, and all of my rage
This is a good time to start dancing to that song man
The good one, DJ, play that record on, man.
So where be Joey, get me a drink of dimple whisky
Look at the lady she be shady but we raving.
What you doing where you going to hereafter?
She said "Get the fuck out man you seem to be so plastered."
We be all the night drinking and staring at girls alike
But it's all good man, what goes on,
Drink your can, walk it drunk down The Strand
Talk about how we missed the whole club queue
"Who the fuck are you?"
It's heavy, it’s on my mind
She say you'll feel just fine
Rackin’ and stackin’ them lines
I say, calm down dearest
It's heavy, it’s on my mind
You say you feel just fine
Rackin’ and stackin’ them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Remember shootin’ shit down down the old alleyways
Talking tragedies and music like all holiday
I remember what we’re doing then but don't rememeber now
It’s the past, it’s the future but
I don’t know how to carry on,
Through the rights and wrongs
Kick it like we know the songs already
Before we rock steady down and on the dancefloor
And I don’t get no fights when I get angry drunk
Sit down in the corner, man, I’ll sob my fuckin’ socks off
So who the fuck are we? Just the boys in the city
It’s all been done before and we’ll do it again, so
See you later, you alligators
We’ll be back I’m sure next week n' sitting at the bar, you know.
So goodbye, bye, we'll try never to die.
We are so young we don’t understand that we cannot fly
So we’re here now but we’ll be gone soon
Not today, not tomorrow, not the next two
It's heavy, it’s on my mind
Cause you say you feel just fine
He's rackin’ and stackin’ them lines
I say, calm down dearest
It's heavy, it’s on my mind
But you say you feel just fine
Rackin’ and stackin’ them lines
I say, calm down dearest
It's heavy, it’s on my mind
Cause you say you feel just fine
He's rackin’ and stackin’ them lines
I say, calm down dearest
It's heavy, it’s on my mind
But you say you feel just fine
Rackin’ and stackin’ them lines
I say, calm down dearest
"It’s all been done before and we'll do it again so" like this line cos' its so true. basically saying that all the nights out have been done before by lads of previous generations but they still do it and always will, just cos they enjoy it!
