You're right, VictorianRomantic. The majority of the songs on The Black Parade are about death and Cancer. (Like the songs Cancer and Dead LMAO). minus House Of Wolves and Disenchanted of course.

I got the 'hospital' impression as well...but I wasthinking more of a mental hospital? After all, it would tie in to the rest of the album ('Mama' and 'Sleep', particularly) It's basically the same thing as if he were ina normal hospital; but the tone and the music seems to imply comeplete and total insanity.

P.s okay dont listen to this song for the first time after reading anita blake, fucks your head around, i could imagine like a hospital of vampires as docs and nurses, and some random sitting there singing to another patient, and all the vamps were french but i think that was Laurell K Hamilton's fault, heheh lol

First of all, this song is not about vampires. Anyone who knows MCR knows that they are quite fond of metaphors, so I think it's safe to say they don't literally mean drinking blood.
I think this is MCR talking about the fans, how they put so much of themselves out for us (So give them blood, blood, gallons of the stuff) and yet the fans still want more from them (Give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough).
"The doctors and the nurses they adore me so, but it's really quite alarming, cus I'm suck an aweful fuck..." I think the fans are the doctors and the nurses, and Gerard's talking about how strange it is that they love him so much, because he's so messed up.
This is one of my favorite MCR songs......actually, they're all my favorite. :) This song is like Teenagers, when you first hear it it's kind of a funny song, but when you really listen to what they're saying it takes on a whole new meaning.

I don't know what it means, but It's a good song. I don't like the fact that I have the editied version. It's got a 3 second beep when it says "I'm such an awful *beep*"

I really like this song, I think it's about vampires cause a lot of the lyrics relate to them;I gave you all that you can drink and it has never been enough.. !Grab a glass because there's going to be a flood.
Either vampires or some sort of mass-murder, that is addicted to killing people, but that is kinda stupid, so NVM! LOL
