Lyrics for In The Morning as interpreted by brodiebankyaz

In The Morning Lyrics
Too young(x5)
Oh, too young (x4)

Girl, the night's not over,
We're not getting older
They can't chase forever.

Cos in the morning
There's a million years to choose from.
You don't care
Just take one.
Leave a place to rest on.

Because you're too young
Oh, you're too young (x4)
Oh, too young (x10)

There goes another morning
Just wrap it up
We own it
This night's so scared we own it
And in the morning
Why'd you tell me
That it's over?
You think you'd do better
To stick with someone older.

Because I'm too young
Too young (x10)

Oh yeah, we're too young (x10)
(In the Morning x 10)
Too young (x8)

one of my favorite songs of all time. meshes the more modern sound with the soothing vocals. plus the cool breathing that rabash said. I think he was going out with this girl, but she wanted to break up, so she could go out with an older "more mature" guy. he's sort of telling her that they're too young to think about these things so seriously. just have fun and don't grow up so fast

And in the morning
Why'd you tell me
That it's over?
You think you'd do better
To stick with someone older.

Because I'm too young

instead of "the nights so scared we own it" it sounds like he's saying "the night's a skill, we hone it" as in honing a skill or becoming better at it...
Am I the only one who thinks it sounds like that?

During the holidays before 07 I was like "hey, Junior Boys are coming to my city!"

Than I find out they are from here!

Wow, sick talent

Love this song

have any of you ever heard "Too Young" by Phoenix? at around 2:42 in this song, it sounds like a sample from that song, not to mention the "Too Young" lyric.

i fell that it is about a guy that just got dumped by his girlfriend for an older guy...
he feels that they are both naive (too young)

1) for going out with her in the first place

2) for breaking up with him for an older guy

i can relate to this song because i do like a much older guy... and it is naive of me to do so :(
o well :P
great song!!! we need more of these songs

i also heard this song on SYTYCD!!!
WOO GO PASHA!!!
he was AWESOME!!!

The lyrics are "There's a million [names] to choose from." not a million years. also, its "they [can] chase forever."

Anyways, I think its about a girl who's going around sleeping with anyone and everyone who's older basically because she's an idiot.

I must say i agree with gasolinesunsets. I think it's a tribute to the Phoenix song 'too young'. All the signs are there, just listen to them both

I love this song. but these lyrics are wrong. here's the right version:

Too young (x4)

Too young, Oh (x4)

Girl the night's not over (Oh, too young)
We're not getting older
They can chase forever
'Cause in the morning there's a million names to choose from
You don't care just take one
Leave a place to rest on
Because you're too young

Yeah you're too young
Oh you're too young
You're too young

Too young, Oh (x4)
Too young, Uh (x4)

There goes another million,
Just wrap it up we own it
This night's a skill we hone it
And in the morning would you tell me that it's over?
You think that you'd do better
To stick with someone older
Because we're too young

Oh, too young (x4)

Too young
Yeah, we're too young in the morning.
We're too young
We're too young in the morning.

(Repeat)

Perhaps it's about teenage drinking/partying? The music video suggests it, and the lyrics makes sense.
