Lyrics for Exeter, Rhode Island as interpreted by Gigsley

Exeter, Rhode Island Lyrics
I’ve driven through every end of the state today.
Across little towns and empty fields just the same.
I dropped them off at the airport
And make my way back home.

I drive through Exeter, Rhode Island all alone.

The radio plays a power pop song;
It keeps me company like a friend.
I traveled down 102 South,
I want to kiss your mouth again.

The song is “bop bop bop,
Ooh ah ooh ah oh.”

I drive through Exeter Rhode Island all alone.

Well I pick up the phone to call you.
The line it goes all static and I can’t get through.
But it doesn’t matter, cuz I’m on my way.
Oh, I’m on my way home to see you.

Then I daydream about a house in this little town,
Where I could live and grow old.
Well, I forget all my prospects,
And all of the places that I have yet to go.

I’ll get a job at a yard and maybe a love of my own.
I drive through Exeter Rhode Island all alone.
I drive through Exeter Rhode Island all alone.

I really wish i could delete that comment. i'm so dumb it's amazing.
i thought about this song one day when i was riding in the backseat of my friend's car, with his girlfriend in the front where they started fondling. great feeling, i just LOVE it when people do that. i'll never ride with THEM again.
